Gas Smell W212 Mercedes Benz E350 Repair
This video will show you how to replace a faulty fuel filter assembly on a 2010 Mercedes Benz W212 (E350) in under an hour. The symptoms that helped determine the issue were that the car smelled like gas inside and outside after filling up the tank. The faulty fuel filter is located on the driver side of the back seat.
Safety considerations: Make this repair in a well-ventilated area. Disconnect the main battery. Wear gloves and a mask. Keep the car windows and doors open during the entire process. Do not use power tools and make sure there are no sparks.

Instead of disconnecting battery terminal below passenger seat, can you just pull the airbag fuse? I think it's located by rear hatch

@@ivansgarage1950thanks just copped but problem is its impossible to connect the other connector as the resistor is too big. It still makes contact but its forced in but not fully in. Working fine so far.

Can the airbag codes be cleared with a basic scanner?
You don't need to turn on the engine to disconnect the airbag, You just release and pull the steering weal toward to you and you will have space to unscrew and release the airbag. Jus disconnect the battery from the beginning.

Hey, up to you... Just be extra careful not to short any electrical components if you choose not to disconnect the battery.
Too dangerous is when not disconnected car batterie
Yes, you have to, otherwise you will create a conflict to the memory and when you turn on the car you will have problems. Disconnecting the battery will save the set up to the memory.
