2 tablespoon Oil (Avocado or Olive)
1 medium (120 grams) Onion, diced
1 tablespoon Curry Powder
1 medium (741 grams) Cauliflower
1 cup (250 grams) Unsweetened Coconut Milk
1 cup (250 grams) 35% Whipping Cream
2 cups (500 grams) Chicken Broth
Splash of Lemon Juice
If you have a steamer, place the full cauliflower in the steamer and steam for 30 minutes.
In a large deep saucepan, add the oil and the onion. Fry until onion is transparent,
Add the curry powder, mix well.
Add the coconut milk, cream and chicken broth, let simmer.
Remove the cauliflower from the steamer and cut into pieces and add to the liquid in the pot.
Let simmer and make sure the cauliflower is soft.
Using an immersion blender or food processor, blend until the soup is smooth.
Taste and if it needs more Herbamare just add to the soup!

You did great job with this video!, Gayle! I made this bread following Diedre's video the day before I saw your video and it turned out perfect! Only change I would make is to up the baking time b/c my bread maker was set at 2 lb. for 3 hours and I hope to get a more crunchy crust with a long bake time. I'm hoping to find more Keto bread maker recipes. There is a sourdough keto bread out there on CZcams made by hand, my next try!. :) Blessings!
Maybe you could redo this video and go slower? How about cups and old school measures as not all of us do grams as we are home makers not productionists. heres the recipe? 192 grams Vital Wheat Gluten 38 grams Oat Fiber 84 grams Lupin flour 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 tablespoons powdered erythritol Take all of the dry ingredients and mix in a bowl 200 grams cashew milk 2 beaten ed eggs 30 grams butter 1 teaspoon honey 1 heaping tablespoon of yeast (SAF) In your bread maker or industrial mixer , pour in the cashew milk and add the egg. Then take your bowl with the dry ingredients and add on top of the water and egg Measure out 30 grams butter Place pieces of butter around the edge of the dry mixer. Make a well in the center of the dry mixer and take a teaspoon, spray with oil, add honey to the oiled spoon and pour into the well of the dry mixture. (the oil makes the honey come off the spoon easier) Add 1 heaping tablespoon of yeast on top of the honey Close the bread maker lid, press start and let the bread maker mix the dough until it stops mixing. ( mine bread mixer will beep a few times to tell me to add in your nuts or fruit extra, just let it continue until it stopped mixing which is the first knead) The dough should be in a ball and not sticky. Remove and place on a cutting board or mat, you don’t really need to knead the dough you just want make it into a nice loaf shape. Grease your 9.5′ x 5.3′ pan. Place dough in pan, spray oil on plastic wrap and cover dough. Place in the microwave with a 4 cup measuring cup full of boiling water. Close the lid and let sit to make the dough rise. (approx 1 1/2 hours) Preheat oven 350 F and bake for 25 minutes
The reason I measure in grams is because I need it to be exact so the bread turns out. When measuring in cups it is not exact. But I agree with you, I was brought up with cups and would prefer. Take care

I made Deidre’s bread machine bread yesterday and it had a good rise and taste was very good but the crust is very tough and rubbery. I followed her recipe exactly except for using a tsp of sugar instead of honey. What could have went wrong?
Hello there! I don't think you have done anything wrong. I have not made it in a while but if I remember correctly the crust was a bit rubbery.

I love lemon everything so was very excited to find this recipe. I have just started low carb eating. WELL, I made this pie and followed the recipe to the letter. It did not set up even though I left it overnight. It looks beautiful but did not turn out. A waste of money and time. Very disappointed and not sure if I would try it again.

update and this is funny but it worked. I scraped off the meringue and poured the filling back in a pot, brought it to a low boild and thicken it with cornstarch. I put the wet crust back in the oven and baked it for5 mins. I then added the lemon mix, meringue and put it under the broiler until it turned a light brown. It cooled on the counter and it set up. It taste Ok, very lemony. I had nothing to lose by trying to recook it.@@GayleMcLeod

Hi Gayle. Just saw the video recommendation for the Diedre bread (I think it is the one where Samyah's version with Lupin instead of flax) and thought oh, I wonder how she is doing. Anyhow, there is a very low carb flour alternative that a young american youtuber developed, actually she developed several but the latest 2.0 version is very good and gives alot of fiber with very very low carb. You probably heard of it, but in case you didn't it is by Victoria's Keto Kitchen and it was tested by Highfalutin low carb. I just recently found the ingredients in Canada and have made several things with it. Pretty much every recipe calling for AP flour can be substituted with this Keto flour 2.0. I made Americas Test Kitchen's Dream Biscuits with it. Soooo good. Made a *spiced rum dry fruit cake* and added extra eggs (1 1/2 flour to 4 eggs) ..... Soooo Christmassy. Made *cowboy chocolate chip cookies* with it.....amazing. Yesterday I made *white choclate macadamia cookies* ..... My non low carb hubby said he wants them for himself.

The first time I made radish "potato" salad, I had the same reaction you did. I thought the texture was a bit strange. I had steamed mine but decided that boiling was better because, oddly enough, steaming seemed to make them a bit soggier. The trick is to make sure they are cooked through. Then, immediately drain them and run cold water over to cool. However, do NOT let them soak in water. Instead, drain them again and wrap them in a clean kitchen towel and gently blot as much moisture out as you can. Once that is done, you can rough them up a bit in the towel to make the edges less flat and more potato-like. My system doesn't do well with regular raw onions anymore, so I use 3 or 4 green onions, finely chopped. I also add some chopped hickory smoked bacon, but that isn't necessary. I like your idea of adding a bit of vinegar. I'll try that.
