The output of each oscillator is only about 100mV but each of the oscillators has about 22x gain op amps. The outputs of each can either be direct to board...

It is CMOS and is only the two chips at the bottom right. It is a CD4069UB as an amplifier/comparator and a CD4013BE. The circuit has changed since the initial video but the schematic below is correct. Please note for better hysteresis the 100k are now 220k. All resistors are 1%. Ignore anything else as it is not part of the circuit. I have to share unrelated circuits on one breadboard. I do not have any uProcessors so discrete logic is my only option. It would not be contrarian😀, nor obsolete electronics to use anything else. drive.google.com/file/d/1mu52Dlx22ktpaTzMyBYF35yTvosA2hCB/view?usp=sharing

@@SouthShoreSonics That's a lot more simple than I would have guessed, I'm impressed :O Before I got into using microcontrollers I used to love building with logic chips. To me, when space isn't at a premium, a higher chip count just means it's "more cool" :D I tried using logic circuits years ago to try and decode the quadrature outputs from rotary encoders, but I could never get it working. Now I'm wondering if RS flip flops would work :D

I have a bunch of these and every time I check the 12v to ground with a meter I blow a fuse. Any idea why that might happen? I blew 2 in 2 different machines so far, and I checked my meter and seems to be nothing wrong with the meter. I'm a American teacher at a school in Saudi Arabia and we have like 20 of these ET-1000 and no one uses them. I was trying to get some going for my basic electricity course and this fuse issue is a big headache.
