I was about to make an appointment for a microneedling. I don’t have active herpes on my face now. But now I’m afraid. Should we just avoid this procedure forever?
Why duct tape? :)
madam doctor...you have to inject the hyaluronidase directly into the affected vessel?..it's always impossible to find it again
Table salt. Apply to PG and cover. Takes about 14 days to dry up. You’re welcome.
I have get one after shaving, a litte wound ,in a week time I get a red bump on my chin . And often I lost blood from the bump. Now,a half year later,it is shrinking and I hope its go's away. Greetings Reinier from the Netherlands ( Europe)
I have perioral dermatitis for the first time. I am currently in the third week of erytromicin topic and I did clindamicin oral(8 days) . I could not use doxycycline since its summer.I saw little improvement. And sometimes its get better and then worse and after that better. I removed the most common triggers. Is it common this cycle?? How long it takes to get better. And if you had any tip can you please help me??

Because of the mask. I soon as I started wearing the mask a lot this started happening way worse to me. But I already had it the mask made it worse

If you have it, or even think you have it, see a doctor and get some antibiotics/topical cream. That’s honestly your best bet.
Hello Dr. Heidi. Can this occur on lower limbs and can the skin on it be ulcerated/open?
Hi! Thank you! for a looong time I thought it was just a a zit. Oh boy I was so wrong it right on my head, loooooooooooong story short doctors didn’t know what they were doing, hatched away at my forehead, and I finally went to a dermatologist that NONE of the doctors told us to go to, it’s been about 3 years and I have a fading scar!
I m suffering this disease.. Plzz help how to clear..
How do we reapply sunscreen, if we are wearing makeup over our sunscreen? When I reapply it makes me greasy.

I’ve heard it’s can cured your skin dieses and make your skin look back to normal like normal people skin Is this carbon dioxide laser? Is it true it can treat ichthyosis vulgaris
Hi! If brothers had only 1 Pilomaricoma each, would you be concerned with disease/syndromes?
Great video. Thank you 💕
Super excited to have found your channel through Cassandra. I live in Orange County, CA and hope to visit your office someday.
I have had perioral dermatitis for 3 years now and I have tried literally everything! Elidel cream, Soolantra cream, Metronidazole cream, anti-fungal cream, colloid silver spray, hypochlorous acid spray, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, hydrogen peroxide, chlorhexidine, antibiotic tablets, changing my diet, changing my skincare (no fragrance), changing toothpaste... I don't know what to do anymore, and I think about it every day... I'm so depressed...
Have you tried to check your stomach? One dermatologist told me that stomach bugs and issues are often a reason for perioral dermatitis.
What seems to be calming my PD flare up is just washing my face very gently, either with only cool water or with a very gentle cleanser (the one I use is La Roche Posay Toleriane hydrating gentle face cleanser). I also use a gentle moisturizer at night called Purito Centella unscented recovery cream (it's supposed to help the skin barrier), the SPF I use during the day is CeraVe face moisturizing lotion SPF 30. SomE other treatments I've been trying that seem to be helping is using a zinc cream (the one I'm using is Boudreaux's butt paste maximum strength, with 40% zinc), and also using McKesson Antifungal cream, 2% miconazole nitrate. My flare up is so much better now, almost gone. Also, I've been wearing makeup as little as possible, because my PD does flare up if I wear it too often.
Have you tried Finacea? Its Azelaic acid.
@@mooninaries4397 yes, I actually think that azelaic acid triggered my PD... it burns for an hour and makes my face tomato red... I think I am allergic to it...
@@happierelaxingmusic9995 oh, hope you get better! 💕 I did forget to say that for me the cream was too strong so i followed the advise from some Dr here that said you could put a cream on first, let it dry and then put the azelaic acid on top. This made my skin sting much less. The first weeks it got worst, then my skin became better.

Am grateful #dridedia on CZcams for making me herpes negative, I will for ever appreciate your love and kindness contact him via his CZcams channel #dridedia …….
Ok, this is for light skin people only.
NOPE- we are middle eastern skin in my family and majority of my patients are pigmented skin so I have a lot of experience with Zinc /mineral sunscreen in skin of color. Now with skin type 5 and 6 there are specific sunscreens that work much better. so depending on what skin type there is always a good sunscreen for you- sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to find one you love :) I try to not use brand names here- but hope that helped a bit.
@@DrHeidiGoodarzi ok. Thanks
My daughter doesn't fight me when I let her help per sunscreen on herself and on me! Making it fun helps so much
I really liked that you gave us information about getting sunscreen on kids. It’s been a struggle for me and it’s refreshing to see someone who understands and has valuable knowledge. Thank you! ❤️
Thank you so much for saying these kind words. I hope to reach many parents and teach as much as I can about kids and their skin!
Most sunscreens are super expensive to apply "enough" it's insane. Also I don't agree with banning tanning beds based on age discrimination. It does nothing Just educate people.
Have you tried drugstore brands - there are so many good sunscreens very affordable. Also ask your doctor if you can purchase it as a drug using your health spending benefits (pre-tax) if you have one.
@@DrHeidiGoodarzi thanks for the advice! Will try!
As usual, a very comprehensive video on a very important subject! Thank you for this timely information 🤗
Thank you Debbie I hope we dermatologists with help of the informed consumers can spread the message of sunscreen as loud and as broad as we can :)
@Dermatologist Heidi Goodarzi M.D. You're doing an excellent job👏💗
After receiving a CO2 I had more brown spots than before.
Really appreciate you #drbanlogun CZcams for bringing back happiness by giving me a permanent cure to my HSV2. Thank you so much, please friends join me to thank him for what he has actually done for me and I pray to you all good life and good health, and most especially to you #drbanlogun.
Great video Doctor!
So you recommend accutane, taking a chemotherapy drug that can kill you and leave your organs permanently damaged, for an issue that is mostly vanity while ignoring the root cause of the problem (usually an internal imbalance/inflammation)….real smart…dermatologists are are full of bullshit. All you guys have to offer are creams and drugs, you have no education about lifestyle and diet.
I promised to testify once am cured from herpes by #drbanlogun who finally cured my hsv2 with his natural helps I used for 14 days and I was confirmed completely cured on the 15th day thank you so much sir
This is the MOST comprehensive acne video I've ever seen! Keep up the good work💗People need to hear your education content. It's not always about entertainment👏👏👏
Wow, thank you!
I wish this was talked about more when I was a teen! I had so much hyperpigmentation, and my mom let me continue to go tanning 😩 she thought it would help dry it out
Yessss, 100% Help me spread the word by sharing with others 👐
I love all this useful information from an expert. I learned so much from this short video! Thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Oh do I LOVE what you do and say!!!! Yes yes!!! Keep us informed!! It’d be great to hear what you do combine Niacinamide with at the office for treatments that require it!! Skin care is such a hobby of mine but I love learning new things!! As someone who suffered with unravel skin and black heads a lot I try to make it fun and caring… makes it so much smoother!! Much love!!!🥰💕💕
Amazing videos!
thank you very much Melissa :)

Wow 🤩
Thank you for your video! I’m convinced my 7 year old dr has one. It’s grown to 1cm over the last year but her pediatrician says it’s an epidermoid cyst behind her ear. She says it doesn’t hurt her but seeing that there is a small chance of cancer makes me nervous. How common are these?
not very common at all. it would be great to have it evaluated by a dermatologist.
