September, brought tears. I’m there, now. Such heart felt, music. So Blessed to have been able to see and hear both perform their music, and movies. Outstanding talent. 🕊
My cousins and I used to play this song (a piano roll) on my grandparents' player piano and sing along. It's been so long since I've heard it. It brings back so many memories and good feelings of being with my grandparents and family. So glad to find it here on youtube :)
King Bing communicates every word and phrase perfectly as though he's spent his entire life living and loving in Manhattan
I ♥️ Bing
This version is Very good
anyone here from modded fallout?
SUGGESTION: WOODIES AT THE PARK!!!!
Just Fabulous 😊
Savage lmao
Bro….. I got this movie and while I was at Applebees idk why I thought about this…… I’m fucked up rn guys.
1968年といいますと クロスビーさんとしては60代半ば 録音されたのでしょうか 実に軽く抜けてやさしい響き、いいですね。ありがとうございます。
Gold
Always enjoyable, listening to Bing sing.
Это потрясающе! Спасибо!
The Paramount Music Corporation, an ASCAP publisher member, published this song.
Haha my grandma always ssang this to me..my name is cutie is Margie
That's badass!!!😊
A Big Ray of Warmth, 🌞on this dark weather moderated, fjb, morning. I think I will listen again. A Big Thank You!🕊
what a difference sang Bing thru Alexa 6:30pm 5/19/24 ....I thought that was him singing in the kitchen by Alexa! thanks for sharing
Snowbird is a great song and Bing is excellent but the arrangement and accompaniment could be better.
We miss you Bing !
Superb. I remember it in the 50's. B.A.N.
My mother use to sing this wonderful song to me back in the 60's. She's gone now and that was many, many years ago. How nice it would be to hear sing it one more time, miss you Mom....
Wow. Transfixed, as I listened.
This man sure gave the world, an incredible gift. Will always love his music and by the Grace of God if I make it to Heaven, May he be an Angel of music.🕊
I'm a big fan of Bing Crosby!!!
More, more of this please!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I winder if everyone else is lisyening to all the versions of this tonight. Each version is done dufferbtky byt it woyld be vert gard to choose the order of preference.i gyess this is kind of swing, very different to the 2937 versions or Ella F or Sinatra. Even George Michael had a go. Id love to hear Gillisn Welch sing thys, and Amy winegouse and everyone else...
Beautiful music
One of my favourite songs, this is the first time I came across Bing's very nice version which included the Spanish lyrics. Possibly influencing Marty Robbins who also sings the Spanish original words and is well worth a listen.
My mom sang this to my brother when we were little and I only now found it 😊
Spirit, therapy.
So many Bing, Blessings. 🕊
Exquisite.
I like this, even though Bing can’t pronounce “Istanbul” correctly.
Thank you!
So nice. Thank You.
That outfit goes well with his eyes. Seems to me, there were two intense ‘Blue eyes,’ that were very gifted vocalists.
¡Bing Crosby!
WHOOPEEEEE! BANG BANG!
May be a demo
Wow. I was born in 1965. I knew of Bing and Hope but got into their stuff on 1990 when radio stations switched to rap and grunge. 2924 and first time hearing this. Thank you.
Overorchestrated - overcrowded... Bing Crosby great voice...
It's nice to hear a pure voice with great instrumentals. Iam tired of hearing electronically assisted singers, backed up by flashing lights and jumping back ups.
I'm 21. I'm not an oldie yet. I may never be. However, I, too, cried from this song. My mom used to sing a variation to us at bed. She would sing, "litte boy, you're tired, i know why you're blue, because you had a very busy day." Then she would say things relevant to the day like "but you had lot's of fun with (friend name), and played with Coco too (dog lol), little boy you had a busy day. Busy day!" On the last busy day, she would tickle us, and then after we laughed, she would smile and say, "I love you." She's still alive, but it's hard for me to picture a world without her, and I'm still crying somehow. Thank you, everyone, for sharing your stories. This song has truly affected us in a way we couldn't comprehend when we were younger.
Every year since 1776 on March 19th, until 1985 when they moved to the Mission Viejo Mall, where parking lot lights made bug eating easier !
Mario Lanza has a little more depth and volume and range for this song
The wonderful Red Nichols on trumpet.
My dad always sang this to me as a young girl. I love and miss you Daddy.
