Bonjour Pascal Briand. Merci pour ce retour. Si je comprends bien, la boots du R6 est orientée longue distance avec du confort. L'inverse de la boots Arise Marathon ou Arise SL. J'ai monté une paire de Arise SL pour faire de la longue distance, mais l'absence de liner et leur grande rigidité rendent la boots plutôt infortable. Pour de la longue distance, je regrette cet achat. La boots HC Evo est pas mal, mais quand même plus lourde et moins dynamique. Est-ce que vous recommanderiez la boots R6 ci-dessus pour un montage orienté longue distance pour un patineur qui chercher à la fois et du confort et du rendement ?

Will it fit to FR FRX Boot? Mounting is the same 165mm but Heel level seems to be higher in PPT2.0

Old video, but relevant and a common problem. Most inline speedskate style boots I've owned have slightly faulty layups where the mating surface of the boot to frame is canted a couple degrees or more to the outside. That surface should be dead flat or better yet canted inside a bit, hence the need for wedges. I recently devised a simple trick for rock solid wedge installation. Get 4 longer 6x25mm socket screws, to each add a pair of special convex/concave 6mm alloy washers commonly used to adjust the alignment of bicycle brake calipers, then add a 16mm flat washer, use some blue thread locker, and install your frames with that assembly and allow to cure overnight. This creates a high strength clamping force that compensates for the screw to frame misalignment caused by the wedges. Your frames will stay where you put them and the boots won't be weakened.
