Welcome to the National Weather Center's official CZcams channel! This unique building provides a one-of-kind collaborative work environment for the federal, state, and academic units housed there. These three areas work together to improve our understanding of Earth’s atmosphere, provide accurate and timely forecasts on severe weather, and to educate and train future meteorologists.

The National Weather Center (NWC) proudly presents our first ever, virtual tour! Lead by NWC Outreach Coordinator Kaitlin Frost, this video covers each stop regularly made on one of our NWC Tours here on the beautiful University of Oklahoma South Research Campus.

I love this tour
Thank you so very much for this virtual tour of the National Weather Center. This really helps out those of us who don't have the time or the energy to to be there in person for these tours.
Outstanding virtual tour! I attended the National Severe Storms Conference in 2000 and 2002 and have not been back to Norman, OK to see this. My, how things have changed, what an impressive weather center and campus. It makes me wish I was young again and pursue a degree in meteorology!
I wish they would resume public tours especially for school student groups.

I was very honored to be a guest of the The National Weather Center, Norman Arts Council and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art on the University of Oklahoma campus this past weekend. One of my paintings is among the 80 exhibited in the Biennale! So exciting! Thank you to all who worked so hard to make this amazing exhibition happen. And thank you for treating all the participating artists with such high regard.
