Hit it with a stand on attack

Nets B and C launch the opponent when hit. If they never leave the ground, they are still considered in the air, but will not be able to tech. If hit by a normal that does not have a stand attacking, they will just fall to the ground, for exactly 1 frame when falling they are vulnerable to being hit. The A net hits this frame, restanding them and resetting the combo

They are supposed to hit at the same time, as long as they get stuck in the net that's fine. If you are hitting just s4c and not the net it means you have to release the net sooner. Specify what part of the video if this does not help though, as s.214a s.4c is used in many different situations

@@projectpotato i'm trying to do the first vortex combo, when the A net and the s.4C hit at the same time i can't get the s.214B s.4C in time so i always drop it there i'm doing s.214A s.4C, not s.214[A] s.4C ]A[ so that may be the problem? idk if i have to hold them at all

@@patatanavidenya Remember that nets are on a cooldown. You can't do the vortex very fast, otherwise you simply won't be able to place the net you need. You need to time it so that the opponent does not get launched in the air, but still go at a pace that will let you place the next net. In other words, try delaying what you do as much as possible before they get launched.

Make sure you delay the C press as much as you can so hierophant will disappear but you still combo, and then do the wrap asap. For a different method of inputting the wrap, and how I do it, you can use something called negative edging. In hftf, releasing a button is the same as pressing it if you do a motion. So press C for the kick, do 214, release C, and wrap will come out from just one button press. It really just feels like you press C and do 214 at the same time if that helps. I guess I forgot to mention that's how I do it because it's not something I think about.

@@HollyBunnySilly oh, and I completely misread what you wanted help on after looking at this again, sorry lmao For the net after wrap, you need to learn how to time it perfectly to turn your stand on after hierophant disappears, practice that timing before attempting the net placement. Then, learn to place a net (s214c), let go, s4c. It's defiantly the hardest confirm in the combo. You NEED to place the net before s4c, and s4c will hit before the net becomes active. You can practice the feeling of that with the vortex oki at 4:10.
