Sky Movies Gold. Great movie channel. Great British channel also. I remember this movie channel got a lot of old but great movies way back 27 years ago in 1997 and but I don't know it got that movie "Frantic" with Harrison Ford. That's a great movie. I know it got "The Italian Job" with the retired Michael Caine. Another great movie.

Odd, Beaches was never a PG at the cinema or on video - I presume Sky were showing an edited version for some reason, even though they could have shown it uncut at 8pm had they chosen to do so?

I can't believe that the "End of Act One" and "Act Two" texts, from the original 1990 were removed, in the VHS release distributed by "The Video Collection." The A&E Home Video release replicated that episode with the text removed, plus the addition of the Thames ident. 1990's VHS and remastered DVD releases replaced the texts with their own versions used in the intro. This is identical to what Challenge TV did to "Who Wants to be A Millionaire?" airing them as "Classic Millionaire."
