Hey yall! Welcome back! This episode I share days 3-7 of my first week of ADF and my final weigh in this morning as the first official weigh in! This week was tough, especially Friday as I was a week before my new cycle was due to start. Mentally, I had to push through on Friday and im glad I did because my weigh in results were astonishing!

With both fasts, I had good results. However, I started to overeat more recently bc my eating window was so short so I had to take a break from fasting. However, I have recently watched a very lengthy video from Andrew Huberman that details the different length in fasts and how the 4-6hr eating window can lead to overeating. I personally cannot stick to ADF long term and would only do 36hr fasts when I am mentally prepared. I highly suggest watching that podcast from Andrew Huberman on different fasting lengths!

Yea, same! I did go a little over board this time around so I may try to do like a 16:8 or something the week before rather than not fasting at allâŠi just donât know. Im going to try to get a plan together bc I donât want it to keep throwing my weight loss off track.

I havenât tried the Japanese BBQ sauce, but Iâve also been seeing it a lot in the stores and in peoples hauls. I havenât seen the zero sugar version of the Boston Cream Pie yogurt, Iâll have to keep an eye out for that one! Nice haul!

That Japanese BBQ sauce is so good!! We use it on salmon, stir fry veggies, chicken. It's really versatile.
I canât wait to try it! I have it in a crockpot chicken recipe this week, but salmon is a great idea!!! Iâm gonna try that or shrimp next!

My struggle is black coffee. But I will really try to have it on my fasting day. I still put creamer in it now but my goal is to drink that black coffee. Pray for me
I am the same way! I have to mentally prepare myself for that black coffee đ butâŠafter the first few sips, I adapt lol also, try the black cold brew/iced coffee in the bottle at the grocery store, for some reason, that goes down a little smoother to me. Of course Iâll be praying for you! You got this! Just get past the mental blocks! đ
How did you learn to fast 36 hours? Was it gradual? I've made it to 23/24 several times but was afraid to go past that.

So cool that you grow your own food! I live in the suburbs of Buffalo ny and between the weather and our yard being full of gigantic tree roots itâs not the best scenario ha, I definitely want to live in a rural area someday!
Iâm very new to gardening, I try to stick with the easy stuff and only a few things at a time lol itâs a lot to keep up with! and Iâve heard that leafy greens are good for colder climate, you may could try that if you can find a clear spot without tree roots lol

Thank you đ and Honestly, because itâs whatâs in my freezer lol that cauliflower Mac and cheese has been in my freezer for about a year , I was trying to get rid of it. đ and I wonât buy it again bc itâs not something I REALLY enjoyed. Before I started intermittent fasting, I was counting calories (I talked about this in my last video) and thatâs why I have zero sugar and low calorie foods etc. I just donât want to waste what I have. However, I just like zero sugar sodas which is why I drink those lol
@Mama Nat ohhhh gotcha! :) I'll have to go to the beginning of your videos & get myself caught up. :) I totally admire your ability to do all the weight training! I really wish I could, but lupus kicks my booty when I attempt things like that. I do drink the diet soda, too. And I've used Splenda for many years. But there has been so much talk about how bad all these sweeteners are for us now. I tried monk fruit & was ok with it, except it seemed like I needed sooo much of it for it to give me the sweetness I need. I have about 80 more lbs. I want/need to get off. I am diabetic & have lupus, so I know how beneficial IF would be for me. I do it occasionally, but I take so many meds, morning & night, that I need to figure out how I can do it without them breaking my fast. I have struggled all of my life with my weight. But I said, "THIS YEAR is going to be MY year!" Continued success on your path! đđ»đđ»đȘđŒ
