As part of the PIHMS degree, students spend 2 x 6 months out on a paid industry placement. This means our students not only graduate with a superior qualification but also work experience. We find our students paid jobs in NZ, Australia and the UK. We've also had students go to the USA and the Maldives. Here's a video of our students Allie and Luke on their placement on Hayman Island, Australia.

PIHMS is unique Hotel management school which provides both academic and practical experinces to gain a better understanding of the Hospitality industry. It can also create other pathways once finishing your Bachelors Degree due to the level of studies you complete over the years. You gain knowledge and experience of a range of diverse cultures due to PIHMS having both Domestic and International students. The staff are all supportive and inclusive in the learning and their focus is on students passing with high levels of knowledge. They offer additional learning help and assistance for those who may have learning difficulties or need help with assignments. All round highly recommend to all who want to further their career in the industry.
