The myth of Medusa has always been the story of the women who were raped and murdered by men who couldn’t stand the thought of them having any power or voice to change the world. It’s the underlying story that, in all wars, it’s the women and children who suffer most. Almost every Greek myth is the oral history of the conquerers and the conquered. The villains are often the ones who were victimized and subjugated, and I would argue that whenever you hear about monsters or villains, look harder and likely it serves as the validation for someone else’s extremely horrible behavior. Perseus is the embodiment of this misogyny and is an archetype of fear lashing out against all that does not resemble himself. He is a half man who only values what he can control. He is a pawn of forces he cannot understand or recognize. He is named a hero and yet all of his deeds are murders. He saves no one and yet he is legendary. Medusa was a priestess who worshipped a chthonic snake goddess and functioned as an Oracle. These women existed until they were hunted down. She has always been a cautionary tale about what happens when you are uniquely different and are labeled a monster instead of a person. You will be killed and your story will be weaponized. Thank you for humanizing Medusa and reframing her myth in a way that more closely resembles what actually happened in our ancient history. She deserves this and humanity needs to re-member, in whatever way it can. There’s real power in this story and you feel it in your soul. It’s why we watch this and cry yet yearn for more. Deep truths are like this. 🦋

I watched the original one when it first cane out and I was very young, and since then id thought about it a lot and wondered if I could find it again and if therw would be more, and this makes my life feel a bit more complete

Especialmente los dioses como Poseídon y Atenea. 8:20 a Juzgar por su fuerza diría que ese esclavo era un Semidios. Y los demás prisioneros lo sabían, de modo que tras ser derrotado, ellos mismos prefirieron luchar por su libertad o morir en el intento. 19:20 💔 20:30 cómo? Who watches in 2024

I remember watching the beautiful story of Medusa back in the day. This one is none less beautiful than other comics with this character. Always wanted to see more comics with her, little did I know it DID come out half a year ago. Your work brought me to liking such comics and digital art in general few years ago, this one feels almost nostalgic. I wish I've seen this one earlier. Wonderful video, story and audio❤

Cool. Saw this on TikTok, thought it was interesting so I decided to check it out. Her smile at the ending tho. I know a super villain smirk when I see one, but hopefully not, walking away from everything is always an option.
