Pastor Landon is a human being, follower of Jesus, husband to Bri and father to Ezra, Violet and Julian. He loves studying the Bible and helping de-mystify it for people while retaining its original and beautiful complexity. He also enjoys record collecting and skateboarding and tea.
In 2017-2019 Pastor Landon did a 72 video series through the entire Bible. Utilizing hermeneutical methods, Bible overviews and outlines and memes and imagery - he created a Bible study curriculum that was both free and engaging.
In 2019 and 2020, for his next project he worked with 8-10 talented animators and created 100 two minute videos about the character of God, the attributes of God, the names of God and just generally answering the question - who is God?
In 2021, Landon released his first written project, a 40,000 word study of the words God uses in the Bible to describe the Bible. Part meta commentary, part Bible study this is available at his website - landonmacdonald.com/store

The way my pastor explained it to me, "YOUR faith doesn't matter. There is one faith we all share. It isn't yours."
Praise God for giving us sanity and means to find a solution for our own problems and responsibilities instead of passing them on tho others! I therefore bind one to desire to carry one's own burdens while binding to hell every lack of desiring to carry one's own load in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ while binding one to desire to give all of one's burdens to God, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking desire to carry one's own load while lacking desire to give all of one's burdens to God, in accordance with this word and galatians 6:2, galatians 6:5, 1 perer 5:7, matthew 11:28-30, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

Let us not fall in the trap of our Muslim brothers and sisters - The Good Book is written by Man, imperfect, vulnerable, damaged. The Good Book is not the word of God, God speaks to us in mysterious ways and he gives us the opportunity to engage with him how we please. Those that claim the Good Book is the literal word of God always end up radicalized and turn into fanatics. The Good Book is merely a Man made guide into the arms of our great Creator. Even the illiterate can be a Godly being.

Pastor Landon never fails to keep me engaged - his unique way of explaining the scriptures is really unique. I like 4 or 5 youtube channels for augmenting my bible study, but no one is like Pastor Landon. Thanks!

You can know a fact without doing much about it eg gravity works whether you believe in it or not. But there's a deeper level of it being true if you do something to challenge it in some way and then you discover that it works or that you have to apply a certain amount of pressure of some kind to counterbalance it & you would not have known this experientially if you had not tried pushing it's and your borders to discover it.

This is a false dichotomy, he's conflating knowing something with not truly believing in that thing because of certainty. The word used in the Greek for faith has nothing to do with belief without evidence, actually the word is more along the lines of have certainty or confidence, than believing without being certain or knowing it's true
hey there - i see it as outgrowth of blessed are those who have no seen and yet believed. i totally agree there is evidence etc - maybe i didnt make that clear enough
@@pastorlandon You didn't make it clear, you created a false dichotomy to try make your point, which sounded like it made sense, along with the analogy also explained what you meant. But you could've communicated the idea in a much simpler manner, considering that when you know something, you also usually believe that idea. The only time you won't believe something you know, happens when you choose not to believe the idea. I'm guessing your were sort of freestyling this sermon, which I do comprehend and is common among most layman pastors, although it's a better idea to learn to communicate your ideas, in a precise and concise manner

Sad how some religions warp scripture like this. The text actually says “his only begotten son”. 90% of translation say that. But here it’s ignore because they wish not to accept Jesus is a created being and not God Almighty. Satan has fulfilled his purpose to distance people from serving the Creator to serving the creation. (2Cor. 4:4)
hey there - the greek word - μονογενής can be translated only begotten, one and only, the only one - the idea comes from latin and is closer to only child in english
@@pastorlandon Look up “begotten”, it means to bring into existence. But just for arguments sake and my willingness to share the truth, I’m Colossians 1:14 and Revelations 3:14, where it refers to Jesus, how do you understand those text?
