FYI. H&M is a more sustainable brand than Mango. I worked with sustainability in retail for years and on occasion I met with members of the H&M sustainability team. Its probably best for you to go to a brands site to understand their sustainability efforts if you are going speak to whether or not they are sustainable or not. Then you should direct your intentional purchases towards those brands who are actually making strides in this area if you really want to be more sustainable and intentional. I am sharing this because I hear so many people group certain brands who they call "fast fashion" into one category, and somehow excuse others. Mango is also "fast fashion" but you seemed ok buying from them. I am not trying to shame anyone or prevent anyone from shopping certain brands. Just know that all retail brands are in the business to sell. In fact, they all have the goal to sell more this year than they did last year. So, the only intentional thing you can do when you purchase is to better understand what each of them is actually doing with the dollars they own. H&M is actually one of the leaders in sustainability, but you should discover that on your own rather than take my word for it.
