Creeper World 3: Colonial Space Map 11261 by Rennervate/AlexX
This was a really fun and long level made by alexX. It took me quite a while to do this since I tend to have a hard time splitting my concentration and fighting multiple fronts at once. We got through it though and came out victorious!

I decided to do a quicker video for the creeper world return. I'll probably do a run through story mode intermixed with colonial space maps. This was the intro level to story mode and was really really easy and could be completed much faster than what I did.

This one was my favorite and while I can't say I'm that great at being fast in it (as seen by video time) I do love the game. I'll probably upload these more often until IXE comes out and then slow down on this. Anyway, enjoy the video!

As I've said in my posts I'm going to tune down the rate at which I upload my videos. I plunge pretty head first into things and get burnt out really quickly. So to try to prevent that I'm cutting my uploads down to once to twice a week. If I feel like doing more then I'll upload bonus videos too. If you guys don't look at my community posts I do pretty regularly post and sometimes do polls for my next videos. Anyway, enjoy the video!

@@Infiland Absolutely! I've enjoyed it so far. I'll definitely be making more it just can be difficult sometimes for a quiet time to record the game. I also definitely plan on doing the captions it's just a lot of work to do so I might go back and add them afterwards. The timestamps is super easy though and I'm glad I know how to do it now! (That reminds me I forgot to do that in my video from today... Lol)
@@anator1451 Yes, the playthrough helps me a lot since I can clearly see what players might be doing. I'll change the grading system a bit since it is a bit scuffed and too easy to get WTF ranking, make "mouse movement" save in settings since that setting isn't typically recommended and other notable things I noticed. Thanks again!

Oddly enough my brain doesn't wrap around controller or keyboard input on this game. Which is odd since chippy is relatively similar and I can't do anything but controller there lol. So the saving settings would be really nice

I am always amazed when youtube suggests such small channels to me. But here I am! You are fun to watch, I hope you remain motivated to keep the content coming. By the way, fun game, though I feel like the hunt for the last creeper pixel could get annoying like on 11:20, maybe the victory should be awarded if you have gotten 95 or 99% of them, or perhaps tiny creeper pools that are too isolated should gradually vanish by themselves.
@@themechanicalentry8353 I agree, when I first tried the demo I was really having a hard time hunting like one or two pixels. Hopefully evaporation will be a thing like in the other games. Also, I'm glad you like my content and thanks for commenting! I plan to keep uploading best I can and should definitely once IXE releases in full. Chippy by itself can be hard to make content for if I'm really struggling with a level and the community is pretty small so there isn't a ton of workshop content. But I'm hoping to, however small the amount, give the game some publicity since it's an awesome game to draw more people in to make content for it. Creeper world always gets more content than I can keep up with so that's nothing I have to worry about lol. Sorry for the ramble, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Yep the game is still going strong! Have you played any of the recent games like 4? I think 3 was probably my favorite, but this game is really cool it might take the top spot for me. I'll have to decide once the game comes out completely. And I appreciate you not minding the rambling! I always ramble then feel like I should have stayed quiet a while before.
@@anator1451 I haven't played 3 or 4, I probably should give 3 a try. About rambling, just treat it as a gift, not everyone deserves it, but those who genuinely like you will be happy to receive that.
@@themechanicalentry8353 I really enjoyed 3 a lot. 4 was fun too (I put 160 hours in it after all) but I just wasn't nearly as good at it. The 3D aspect made it harder for sure. Also, thank you for the kind words I appreciate that. I hope you remain on my channel and continue to give feedback. I can always use more of that especially when it's put as kindly as yours is. :)

I had fun with it. I went back here recently and got a gold time with it. Once I finish uploading the pack I'll probably upload my gold time on it.
I'll probably come back soon and beat this again because I'm pretty sure I can beat this a fair bit faster having watched the replay again. So there might be another video of this soon.
If I do ever go back to finish Champion Campaign, Skylier is definitely getting a rework. It's honestly a really unbalanced boss compared to others (especially the thunderstorm and hailstorm attacks), and that's with how unbalanced Volcanion and Wireframe are (Volcanion less so though).
@@WestieNZ wireframe gave me such a hard time clearing it lol. I remember this one being rough clearing it forever ago but I didn't think it was too bad going back for the gold. But I quite enjoyed it unbalanced or not

@@maxlorenzosmolberry221 yeah I enjoyed most of them. This one was the hardest one for me. It's a toss up between witch and incomplete (I think was the name?) at the end for my favorite. Terra (tera, however it's spelled lol) was probably my least favorite because the colors of the boss itself made it hard to see and navigate the maze. Too much light color. But it wasn't particularly difficult so I beat it pretty quickly. I'll upload the rest of the campaign and some other videos while I really try to get nightmare Goliath beat now. That's my next big goal

That was super neat I think. Adding that bit of story to it. Since it was a bit of story and a smite and done I decided that I wouldn't record a video on it. Unless theres something if you manage to survive hit smite attack? I gave it a few tries and got close but didn't go back to trying it.

what did you think of the boss? i was trying to go with the whole theme of nightmare neophyte sorta being like phobia with all of its bugs n stuff, but this time hydra with the final boss of this campaign!
Yeah I liked that combo. I just really like that style in general of the background and everything being black and white.
Vengeance is just the first, there will be more like them.

I'll be happy for you to know that N-Medusa is one of the hardest bosses in the game. I won't say the difficulty is downhill from here as there are 2 other massive roadblocks in Nightmare Invasion but you've passed one major hurdle. also probably don't record with that quality, the colours get messed up really bad throughout the entire video
Good to know on both there. I was really happy to beat it and noticed hermit doesn't feel quite as bad from what I've seen. If it's super bad I can reupload this to fix it. I kinda skimmed through the video after recording but didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it as I was more focused on making sure the audio was playing right more than anything. I change my speakers quite often so sometimes I get it messed up which my screen capture is recording on lol
Finally got around to looking and seeing what you meant about that. And wow it's bad. I'll reupload it with a different quality. I remember seeing it watching it later but when I rewound the video it went away so I dismissed it as a buggy media player thing
I think this is boss is sorta ment to subvert the players expectations. in the boss select it shows its final form face but when you load in its face is cutesy and its not attacking, little does the player know they are in for a RIDE!
Lol yeah that boss I'm pretty sure had my longest attempt and clear times of all of them

for my first attempt at a maze like boss, i think its kinda neat.
Yeah I like the boss. Definitely not easy for me that's for sure. My movement isn't super wonderful. I might revisit at some point and try to reduce my time
What cha think of attractor? I thought the whole "red detractor beams" was going to be very hard to make but turns out i just had to adjust the colors and one value and boom, detractor beams!
yeah i thought it was super interesting having those red beams push. id have to go back and replay it to give a better thought process of the whole thing since its been a couple days since ive played it now. but i definitely liked the whole pack. the final boss kinda overshadowed the whole thing with the whole theme there so thats where most my memory of the whole pack is lol

I kidna think of Splode being one of my best bosses, tho i hope to surpass splode in quality some day
Honestly like I said in the comment on attractor the final boss was my absolute favorite fight. The ambiance and everything just felt really cool and the way the text flies everywhere after each phase

Yeah absolutely! My current project was playing nightmare phychic but the workshop bug has claimed that for now. ill definitely check out vengence probably while that map is on bug lol.

If you are planning to stream continuously, you may want to look into how to eliminate some of the background white noise for your videos. for the game itself, checking for traps as soon as you enter a floor with "z" is a good idea, and it'll help you level faster, since each disarmed trap gives you exp. also recommend going up to the otherworld to grind yourself to level 2 or 3 before starting. trust me, it doesn't cheapen the game. konami code works in this game too, as an intended easter egg for folks to find. you may want to start by using that, and once you get better at the game, you can stop using the code. if you can consistently get to the caves without dying, that's a good benchmark. won't tell you too many more tips here, but the wiki is a good place to find more juicy info. i wrote about 75% of it, so it's always fun to see people learning red rogue. cheers on your let's plays in the future! let me know if you want game recommendations for let's plays.
