It looks so good! Have you had any problems with the bottom leaking? I have a 48x24x18 for my smooth sided toads, and I sealed all of the edges with silicone when I built it but it still pours water out of the corner if I add too much at a time.

Set up is too tropical looking looks like its for a redfoot tortoises imo, uromastyx enclosurers should only be rocks and gravels with a little to no driftwoods for climbing..

I'm soooo making this for my skink except because he gets UVB I will use calcium WITHOUT vitamin D3 because using both D3 and UVB can be too much and can be harmful. Also that looks like too much supplements. If you use dog food you don't need nearly as much. Dog foods are almost always fortified with vitamins so people who use dog food for their skinks often say a multivitamin isn't necessary. I recently adopted my blue tongue skink Malarkey, a 3-year-old, wild caught Indonesian who unfortunately has a very sad past (as most my reptiles/pets do. Adopt don't shop!) He had very careless/abusive owner who broke his tail and didn't provide him with heat, UVB, or supplementation. His foster mom told me that literally everything was wrong with his husbandry, and he was in an extremely bad place health wise. Due to lack of humidity, he had a bunch of bad sheds and when he was finally surrendered to his foster mom it looked like he was probably going to need both his back legs amputated from layers and layers of stuck shed cutting off the circulation for so long. I saw photos of when she first rescued him, and it was sooooooo bad. I have never seen anything quite like it and I have rescued a lot of animals and worked in a humane society for years. His foster mom gave him lots of soakings and was finally able to remove the many layers of stuck shed. Somehow, she managed to save his legs, but he is missing all the toes on both his back feet (aside from one single toe) and most of his toes on his front feet are missing at varying lengths. His feet are pretty crazy. He also has a permanent kink in his tail from the break he suffered, but despite all his issues he has adapted to it very well. His feet are healed but will always be a sad sight to look at. Because of his dark past I am even more determined to treat him like a King, for the rest of his life. He went from being abused until he was on deaths door to now living in a 4x4x2 front opening enclosure with 24" UVB light, proper humidity for an Indo (around 75%), bioactive substrate with springtails and isopods, live plants, plus he has a humid hide, a heat mat on a quality thermostat and he is very loved. When Malarkey is better socialized, I plan to use him for educational presentations. He will help kids learn just how important it is to take care of your pets properly and what can happen if you don't meet their needs just right. I think he will be a great ambassador for his species one day!

Those Reptile Habitat enclosures are super nice for the price. MB kings are FANTASTIC colubrids to keep. Very beautiful.

sometimes with reptiles that are not your average children you have todo whats best🫣 i have a lg with neurological problems and the only way she wont roaste herself and keep eating is with a controlled thermomostat in a 20 long, i absolutely hate it but it works for her😭

I just saw these at my local reptile specialist shop (Twin Cities Reptile, amazing amazing space I love to support) and I fell in love with how beautiful they are. I'll need to grill the folks there about what they've learned from caring for their breeding pair because WOW are there really Not Any resources around for these special babes from what I can see off a quick Google search
