The more you think about it, the more it did actually affect the lions because if they won this game, they could have gotten the 2 seed and the the 49ers wouldn't have cliched the 1 seed so they would've been forced to start their starters in week 18 and if they did lose, then the lions would have gotten the 1 seed so they would've had the bye and home feild adventure amd maybe could have an easier team to play in their playoff games and they possibly could have even gone and win the super bowl. So the more you think about if tge ref was better it could've changed the whole nfc playoff picture

Winning a championship is not in yet in his cards and hope he sticks with it and keep that hunger going and improve along with the team. I think Brock Purdy is a great QB, he is poised and is a great scrambler and the Super Bowl could have easily gone either way. Please hear this, I grew up just south of Kansa City and have been a long time KC fan and am a fanatic KC Chiefs since Mahomes came to town. That said, I was very impressed with what Purdy did when he came in as a desperation move by the 49ers and then stepped up to the plate and an injury kept them out the Super Bowl in 2023. He is an elite QB or they wouldn't have gone to the Super Bowl in 2024 and took the game Overtime and a break down in coverage that allowed Chris Jones a straight shot at him led to the 49ers settling for a field goal. And then Mahomes led the Chiefs to the win in overtime using the play that helped them defeat the Eagles the year before. SO, while I'm happy the Chiefs won, without Chris Jones stormin' the fort, it couild have easily gone either way. 2024
