Hi, Can you explain it more?
Very good explanation
Whalers are wrong. Need a 2x4 inside the clamps too. Not just one on top.
Thought i was the only one who noticed that
Is Z = height of point of rotation from bottom plane J? Anyone?
yea, im very confused tho with his calculation of PE and PJ;
Hey sir, let’s say we are given all the units in metric, what would the construction rate equation be then? Would it change?
Bro, isn't there something wrong? I put 3250 under my bed every month so in 36 months I accumulate 117000$ without even interest. You calculated less money with an interest added. It seems like you invented negative interest before the bankers of Switzerland 🤣 just kidding.. can anyone explain the logic?
Thanks
لم افهم ولا حرف 👽🙂✨ لانني عربيه هاهاها😂💔
What if we aren’t given strip fill and strip cut

Thank you so much.. this is the 3rd lecture
too much muttering - not loud enough - and too much flipping through charts
I'm confused why for PE we are calculating active and passive pressure at the bottom of the sheet pile when in reality, we should do it at the point of rotation. Any justification for this assumption?
i struggle tu understand that aswell; the formula for PE only holds if instead of D he would have (D-z), where z is the distance between the point of rotation and the tip of the wall; and same for PJ, why does he consider to have passive pressure over the depth D, when in reality the passive pressure is acting only on the "z" distance, while the active pressure is (h+D-z)

Good work and good teach about forms and how to assemble form panels
This is the right way, wedges, buckles, whalers, pins, kickers, this guy is teaching right way dude saying he’s a rookie cuz u do it different your in minority bubba
what is that 3780 psf? a constant?
Life savior
uploaded in 2009 and watching in 2021.....more than a decade...lovely explanation!❤
No way
Design a timber formwork for 40 cm thick slab czcams.com/video/pSjQR80ZqdM/video.html
Those saying he doesnt know what he's doing are either highly ambidextrous or too dumb to gaf. Kind of related- had a project manager come out to help us start forming the foundation walls for a bldg addition ( 3 sided foundation)...dude started at a corner, lol, stuck the horizontal wedges thru the forms then proceeded to put the vertical cinch wedges in upside down (from the bottom up)...I walked over and smacked one wedge with my hammer and of course it fell right out.
11 years later, this guy has no clue that he is still doing God's work for us college students
Awesome explanation, thank u bro!
This is the most useful information ever on this subject!!! I really and indeed appreciate your explanation!!! Thank you so much!!!
You saved my career. Thanks man. I'm searching for the easiest explanation for this topic.
Bullshit I strip aluminum form all day he’s a rookie don’t matter which way
I showed this at our weekly safety meeting tonight! Thanks Matt.
Thank u very much sir
Sir can you tell me from where you took those tables for properties of joist and stringer
Yup.
Don't you need to take into account that the APR is compounded monthly? From what i understand, APR doesn't account for monthly compounding.
Fuck you, I'm left handed.
Exactly. Good thin most lefties can hit both sides
Really awesome content !!!!
Can you please share the excel file for easier use ??
Can you please share the documents with tables ?. If you can, it will be very helpful.
l am one of the Victims. At first, the software seemed to be really professional and authentic I found many favorable reviews about its performance and delivered results. So, I decided to invest in it and try to achieve success in the online trading sphere. Soon, I realized that the software was swallowing all my investments. Brokers are nothing more than a dangerous and fraudulent platform. I invested over $ 140,000 and couldn't withdraw my money, months passed and still nothing So, I reached out to Peter Harold to help me recover my funds, I have been able to recover $ 100,000 and the remaining $ 40,000 is in progress. That's some goooood geotech. Thanks!
isn't there will be discontinuity in forces at point of rotation.
2:13 answers my question
Is it always safe to assume that the slope from B to the point of rotation will always go towards the excavated side, i.e, passive is always greater than active? Even though we can have a large depth of active pressure? Edit : 4:41 Partially answered my question but I still have doubts about the rate of change and the direction it is going.
