Welcome! I make wood products to heal and empower and bring joy. I have been working in wood for about 5 years, but wow I have learned so much, making everything from simple beds and barn doors to a tiny home in the woods, and yoni steam seats for my dear women friends. I create from devotion, to to quality, to purity, to health, and to the feminine inspirations in my life. These are the items you will see here. And, I used to be a full time drummer, so you might catch some of those old video moments here too.
Djembe Lesson - Kuku Part 1
Kuku is one of the most important and popular rhythms in west african music, partially because it was taught by Mamada Keita and his students now for many years. Learn how to play step by step, it's a very simple rhythm, but has some subtleties of timing to convey the full feel. And I play it a little differently, to give me more speed and stamina. Some teachers will say this is not the right way to play it. They will teach you to play the first three notes on the same dominant hand. And you can choose any way you want. Non traditional, as in my way, or traditional, the other way.

THANK YOU for the actual Passport rhythm! I've seen people teaching a completely different rhythm and calling it Passport. Nice job teaching, too!
