Do you run stock Torque Converter?

Hey No it's not a stock its a low stalled torque converter Do you think it could be caused by the transmission fluid level being low? It's about halfway on the hot side of the dipstick.

Other than the bump coming to a stop it shifts nice through all the other gears

Before I make any tuning adjustments or talk to Larry the Fummins transmission expert on FB, get that level up to par. After that Larry Barnett would be the guy to ask. After him, then the "tune master" Randy Gillam. I know Randy wants the low torque shifting and engaging clutch bands at specific rpm's. Let me know... 🤗👍

Thanks for watching. Sorry for late response... I used the OEM lines up to the point they point away from frame behind front left wheel. Cut them there. Disposed of engine bay pieces. Then used Evil Energy fuel lines & stainless splice connections for suction. Used standard (O'Reilly) fuel line for return. Right now (6/7/24) I'm installing a tank sump and bypassing/plugging OEM suction side because the lift pump doesn't do well when tank level drops below quarter tank. Again used Evil Energy nylon braided, steel mesh reinforced fuel line from sump to lift pump. No problem below quarter tank anymore.

Yeah, the feel of Ford system is different, but braking is the same. And yes, they make a whine. Make sure & use auto trans fluid, not PS fluid. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching! Excellent observation! HOWEVER... steers can legally run whatever weight they are rated for, and tires are rated for load, up to 20k lb. Our units' steers are rated and tire rated to 13k. The reweigh confirmed. Thanks!

Even if your tires are rated for 13000 pounds you were only 800 pounds under with a quarter of a tank when you fuel up over a 100 gallons which is more like 8 pounds a gallon you still will be overweight on steers

Yes, that was an issue, until I found out that the Cummins 4bt engine was identical on both ends as the 6bt. I looked on Ebay for PS pump for 4bt, and boom! There it was. Come to find out on quite a few swap videos, its a common mod. All you need to do is go to a hydraulic hose store, bring the new pump, take your hydroboost lines with you, and they will make up lines for you. I was blown away! Good luck! It's messages like this that make the work worth it. I tell you what, after pulling my 14k lb 5th wheel from Oklahoma City to South Padre, I was really impressed with the gonads on this 400hp 12valve. Nothing but raw power up & down hills @ 65 mph. No problem. Then today, I went to town for groceries. It just cruised, like hunting dog on his day off. Was great!

Thanks for watching. There are several points you connect to in order to move the engine around. Screwed in one of the bell housing bolts. Used turbo mount. Downpipe mounts. You have to wiggle and shake it inch at a time around stuff. 😂

Gotcha. I ended up putting chains around the engine mounts and up the back side to my engine tilter, then the front of the tilter, to the ring mount on the left side and a support chain around the other side to balance it. Figure it SHOULD work fine haha. Will find out next day or two hopefully when I get it pulled out...

So does the bridge law not apply to spread axel trailers? My axel is able to be moved forward or backwards for oversized loads

Bridge laws always apply UNLESS the jurisdiction makes exception. All the spread axle allows is flexibility in loading. All weight and length requirements are specific to the jurisdiction you are traveling through.

Yes sir

OK, the problem is usually not an idle problem, but a torque converter mis-match. Larry Barnett can be found on many of the Facebook groups "Fummins" and other swap. The difference is the torque range difference from the 6.4 8-cylinder and the 5.9 6-cylinder. The 5.9's torque is way lower. So the TC engages and (more importantly) releases at low rpm so you're not snuffing the engine when you pull up to a light.

The reservoir is connected to forward most orifice. Pressure, the furthest back. That attaches to hydroboost. Hydroboost circulates through braking and steering, returning to reservoir via cooler.

Yes, since I'm only planning on 400-450hp, I am using the stock lift pump from F350 6.4 setup. If I need more, I'm going with the Ford 6.0 pump which is the same footprint and 40psi more (60 psi) than the 6.4. **UPDATE** Discontinued the stock Ford lift pump. ECM would shut it down while running. Would lose power. Took it out and let stock Cummins lift pump take entire job. Runs flawlessly. Will consider FASS or Air Dog later.
