Was it necessary for Kate to write a book? I can’t get past them leaving the children alone so they could join friends for dinner either. Couldn’t they take turns staying with them? I just couldn’t do that. Then after Madeleine went missing I didn’t hear them once say they should never have left the children unattended. Why did they have no regrets about doing that? That’s extremely odd.

The latest news on social media is that the twins no longer believe their parents ridiculous account of what happened that night. They must have realised that they too were left alone every night in an unlocked apartment and could so easily have befallen the same fate as their big sister. Maybe Sean will be the one to stand up to his father and persuade him to tell the truth.

People can be so petty! You do what makes you comfortable. While I think you always look so pretty, I am here for the content.

It makes me despair that prople feel they have the right to make personal comments like they clearly have. I hate that entitlement. Hopefully you continue to do what is right for you and block the idiots. When you are providing entertainment and using your own time to do this, people should just be grateful for what you give the community and leave the pettiness at the door.

I really need to work on romanticising my own life, I feel like it would be really good for my mental health!

I feel like there really needs to be a good balance. Bringing in new things can be important, but we shouldn't bring in as much as capitalism wants us to! Balance ⚖

My book room is chock full of…well…books. I love most of them. But I haven’t read most of them. Not that they’re not good books, I just only have so many hours in a day. When I bought them I fully expected to delve into them. Other things I “wanted” and bought, much of it is in a plastic containers in the garage. But at the time, I thought these books and other things added value to my life and I suppose they would have if I had kept my promises to myself and looked realistically at the “things” that I thought added value. But much of what I have brought over the 60+ years of my life have made me happy and fulfilled. Kinda a catch 22. I just need to really take a hard look at what I need and what I want. As always, a very thought provoking video. You have a way with words that really makes sense to me. I’ll gladly take that and add it to my life, it adds value. Be well and stay well!!!!!

Great to see you back!! I think you answered your own question here... all these different 'cores' or trends are exactly that TRENDS. Things people do for 'attention' and 'influence' to look cool rather than because it is what they actually believe in. And to me that is just very sad! 😔 I agree that throughout the years I have fallen victim to buying things because I thought having more books would make me more popular etc. but have grown out of that and likewise tend towards a minimalist frame of mind now!
