Divorce and Kids' Expenses: Mandatory vs. Non-Mandatory Costs
Divorce and Kids' Expenses: Mandatory vs. Non-Mandatory Costs
The divorce attorney and a certified family law specialist explains if parents must pay for their kids' private school and activities during/after the divorce. Judges may order continued payments for the current year, but future payments aren't mandatory. Need-based activities are split 50/50. It covers mandatory expenses like child care, medical costs, and visitation, advising parents to plan for educational costs and consider good public schools if private schools are unaffordable.

Do you need to hired a lawyer for a civil restraining order ??
so the one who file summon is the one requesting divorce or the other party? another question is you dont mind what does (movant) mean in a divorce case? thank you
The other parent can find a better job! It's bull
Reacts.... In 2022. Ok
You need some water please drink some
MARRIAGE IS OVER IN AMERICA AND SOON ALL OVER THE WESTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES AFTER THIS EPISODE …
Representing yourself in family court is the best possible strategy if you're willing to put your all into. I can spend more time and energy on my own case than any lawyer ever will no matter how much you pay them. Lawyers shuffle paperwork and read things. You can too.
What about within one state California my sister in law was asked to help with my baby she lives in a different county she filed guardianship and false domestic violence restraining order i haven't seen my daughter in 8 months i live in san jose they are in kings county
😂😂 dumb as fuxk. It's an owned pet not a damn child
I have a question? I wasn’t able to see my daughter this past Wednesday and Friday because her father said the new court order starts Monday and the old court order is no longer effect. I have my attorney and said it wasn’t true. However, he said let it go and don’t put a fight that I already have 50/50. My question is I took an incident number down the police officer gave can I show this to the judge and tell the judge that father denied my visitation?
Such an evil person.
I never thought about that This stuff is so complicated for men or for the one who tends to earn more. Because I understand that okay let's say I build great wealth and have lots of cash and assets etc and then I marry someone that the stuff from before the marriage is mine. But let's say we buy a house together but I take the money from that previous money let's say it's in a trust if I'm smart well now I've commingled assets from my pre marriage into my post marriage. I think that's why you're saying keep good records. Cuz let's say I put a $200,000 deposit down on a house for us from the prefunds. So we bought that house during our marriage and if it went up in value and we split the assets 50/50 we would be splitting the increase in value minus the initial part that I put in. I think that's what you're saying here and that makes sense
That's why men don't get Married! 304,s for the streets 😂
What are my legal options in Virginia when my ex used two different social security numbers alluding to bigamy?
What do you mean the abuser will get visitation depending on the level of abuse?
What about when your wife's too damn lazy to get her ass out and work and help out and you don't make enough money on your own and she blows it to the point that you have none to pay your bills how about that
Nah it’s called fiscal accountability and being responsible. Two words women are allergic to.
How can you guys removed a child support judgement against my property that is not mine? I really need my property to be clean. According to child support, they set that on my property because my husband’s name matches with that person that owes child support. It’s been an inconvenience for my husband and I.
Great video! Not ehough videos on this topic. The same applies if Parent and child go on a long visit, the children's jurisdiction changes.
I am currently experiencing challenges in maintaining a healthy relationship with my daughter due to the controlling behavior of her mother, my ex-wife. Despite not residing in the Bay Area, I make significant efforts to visit my daughter, spending over $5,000 for a week-long visit, only to be granted a limited amount of time with her, approximately 6 hours. Additionally, her mother insists on being present during our interactions, hindering my ability to build a strong bond with my daughter. To address this situation, I am in the process of revising our visitation agreement and considering pursuing full custody due to the obstacles I have faced in fostering a meaningful relationship with our daughter. Her mother's controlling and manipulative behavior, which I have personally witnessed, negatively impacts our daughter's well-being and my ability to fulfill my parental responsibilities. I kindly request guidance on the appropriate next steps to take in this matter. Your expertise in family law and child custody matters would be invaluable in navigating this complex situation and ensuring the best interests of my daughter are upheld.
Dear men, *THERE ARE ZERO INCENTIVES FOR YOU TO GET MARRIED ON PAPER* You can get married… you can have the ceremony… but NEVER sign a contract. Contrary to what you may think, most states (obviously check where you live) don’t have common law marriage laws.
So we have joint legal custody but my ex wife gave me full physical custody. We have an agreed upon visitation agreement with her seeing our kids on weekends. Takes them Overnight for late Friday and she brings them back home Sunday. We initially had joint physical custody, but I was awarded custodial parent with a 68/32 split at first. But ex wife offered to give me more time with them for a payout to her which I was more than happy to pay. So we did a court order addendum and I was awarded full physical. How does this affect decision making for them? Am I obligated to provide her with school activities, dentist appt times, etc. that are essentially all during my times with them? We have a 80/20 (roughly) split with me having them majority of the time.
hello got a question. is there a waiting period before filing for bifurcated divorce only in the state of fresno,ca? please if you can let me know cause my son got a court date this tuesday.. i appreciate your kind help on this matter.
This lady is helping the fraud system
Women are crazy, menopause then it's crazy
Can you get spousal support if you were not married but we’re with a person for ten years .
Keep your knees and legs together. Your Not on the Market for use a few times and one of ya quits. Spousal support should be as illegal, as Prostituton. A women marries for Better or Worse, or not at all.
Guys once again the system (court/judges) are against men…the main reason why guys are avoiding to get married at all cost…prenups I saw another video where the guy recorded the event during the point by point explanation of it by his and her lawyers and she had to certified and cite say out loud all the medication she was taking…this to avoid mind clouding based on medication causing mental impairment…simple, do not get married and check common or cohabitation laws of the place county/state…even better get a passport and go abroad
I'm glad the laws are changing! This gravy train will be over soon.
RomaniSlob
Controlling ? Logic. Or reason . Bs
Omg! Usa laws are just insane!
Child support and Alimony, you say? More like legalized Sodomy for the man!!
GFSF
Um it's not child support. Never once has a child been supported by this money. It should be called parent support bc all it does is afford a single mom with enough money to go get makeup and become a single mother again.
And how would you convince the spouse who’s getting paid money, to remarry you so you could stop paying them? Logically makes zero sense sorry.
Well if the love rekindles and the paying spouse has of course better lifestyle
So if the parents have their original custody case in california but NEITHER of them currently live in California AND they each live in different states.
Если вы рассказываете для русскоязычных - не надо щеголять своим английским, ой загуглили не 30, а 15- так какой же вы юрист?(
К сожалению некоторые терминологии я на русском не знаю поскольку уже живу заграницей больше 30 лет
She shouldn't have gotten full custody or his rights restricted at all....courts should automatically make the situation 50/50 if they live close enough to eachother.
Or just don't live in California. What a sad trap disguised as a law
Don't get married. Problem prevented.
California law will be the end of us all
No man should live in that entire state !!!!
“More ways to steal a man’s money” by some random gold digger.
Toxic
🤦
Thats incredibly stupid. Infidelity should 100% affect the outcome of a verdict
maybe if you weren't a money grubbing troglodyte on the inside you might be able to find some one who trust you enough to marry you
Or we could just not involve the government in our love affairs?
You gotta a whole circus to be with someone that long and they refuse to marry you because “money” lmaooo. I’m a man and I would leave tf
