me and my family did the same thing in florida, they wanted so much money to install an inground pool so we rented the equipment to dig out he area setup the metal walls did all the concrete work underneath to keep it in place and the back filled, we did that back in 2019 took us about a week to install and it's still there almost 5 years later, we moved in 2022 cause of problems in florida but looking on google maps we can still see the pool in the same place just like we left it, so the new owners had a nice pool that they put concrete around

Not only easier and cheaper to build, but much cheaper to remove. Pools can be a negative for some home buyers, this setup would be able to be changed back to grass much easier than a normal in ground pool.

Grounding. Did you guys ground (also called bonding) the pool? I'm just now learning about this which helps prevent shocking hazards and is for all the metal pieces and the water itself. $40k was a low bid. My guys quoted us $150k before doing any of the deck work.

How do I thank you for bringing this to life for me. Reading has always been a struggle for me and I have tried others Bible groups it always felt like they had an agenda of their own and judgement was an under current…but You. You make me feel safe, cared for, wanted, I can be able to show up as who I am with no judgement. I always felt Jesus was my brother, that he brought joy…You have such away with telling the story that I just giggle out loud. Sometimes to tears. You make the “Word”alive and real. I think if I did a pool like this I’d be happy because I wouldn’t want a permanent pool. I’d say after about three years I’d be ready to no longer want a pool - maybe even 3 months lol

I hope Intex pool liners are a lot better than their airbeds! Their airbeds leak after a few uses.

I’ve been thinking of doing the same thing a below ground pool is 10x the cost of an above ground pool Why not do what you did The only people getting mad are those that paid 50k plus to get a below ground pool and or those that sell and install them Save your $$$ and diy but do your homework before you begin
