I'm interested in how the nutrient intake happened in the beginning, when there wasn't any. It is easy to bring in plant and animal manure from outside. But is there no other solution? If I buy an area of land, there are only leaves, weeds, and twigs at best. But before it becomes compost, it's time. And it may not be enough for vegetables, for example. I guess the combination of beans and potatoes is not enough. Unless it produces enough nitrogen.

Great talk good advise. It's not hard to grow most things when you have 1000mm water per annum, try doing the same thing on 300mm
