My intro was 1979, freshman year of college. Someone in my friend group was a big fan. I loved Todd at first listen and still do now that I’m 63.

I played through one of those Line6 combo amps. It was new back then (one of the first modeling amps) and I was quite impressed.

The first Utopia album blew my mind! I’ve never been a huge fan of Todd’s solo stuff, but Utopia has some material that is probably the most underrated music of the last 50 years. Many bands were influenced by him and owe their creative direction to Todd. His work in video production is also vastly unknown.

They are UTOPIA!

Here’s a guy trying way too hard to be a spectacle. Look at me, look at me! While this is a great song, just sing it and not the horse shit. Total marketing stunt.

Roger was the glue in Utopia. Diplomat, brilliant musician, at the cutting edge of technology. Todd said they still talk every day.
