@@420PeterGriffin well I got mine off of eBay and it came from Canada. This particular one was made for German captured Mosin’s during WW2. I’m sure you can find some on sale. Just type in on Google: “Mosin Nagant Barrel Covers for sale” They’re a little hard to find but if you look around, some will have reproductions ones or authentic ones. I tried looking myself before typing this and it seems that they’re mostly sold out, especially on eBay but just keep searching and using the keywords like “barrel cover”. If it’s for another rifle, try typing the name of that rifle first before typing “barrel cover”. I don’t know why they’re so hard to find. Heck, even when I got this one, it was hard to find. This one was the last one at the time too. There’s one I found on eBay but it’s sold out, I did copy the name though so it can help, I hope. “Mosin Nagant / Barrel Cover / soviet SNIPER / camo green / WW2 Reenactor /7.62mm”

@@Gstevenson1956 I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t have a good experience with them. At least you were able to make your own stuff! I don’t seem to have an issue with mine but then again, I don’t need anything spectacular. As long as it gets the job done for defensive purposes, that’s all that matters. I ain’t going to war with it. Hahaha I hope you have better experience with any future firearms from Southern Tactical if you ever decide to try out any of their other firearms. They have a very interesting bunch!

@@docbrowning as a result of this rifle I won’t buy from Atlantic nor Southern defense again. Once bitten, is enough. There are far to many other paths to build clone rifles

The way they do things is, they take a parts kit and build it on newer parts like the receiver, barrel, etc. Then they try to match the new parts to the parts kit, giving it the “battlefield pick up” look to it. It’s suppose to look damaged and beaten and whatnot, but of course, if you want to build it to be in pristine conditions, you can do that. I personally like the way they made their firearm but if you’re looking for a retro classic firearm that’s in great or brand new condition, then it’s best to either make one of your own or when it comes to the M16A1, you could get the clones that PSA sell or the Brownell’s clone of that rifle. This is more for battlefield pick up collectors, nothing major. They aren’t bad, they just make firearms dedicated to specific people. As for Atlantic Firearms, they sell all kinds of firearms. Recently they’ve been getting a lot of retro style and surplus firearms and they sell them for decently good prices, stuff you’d see people overprice on gunbroker for example. If you want something modern, they have that as well, just gotta look around.

@@alperensemiz5553 Mine also holds 5 but you can add 1 by chambering one. pump 1 shell into your chamber and then load the rest of the 5 into the tube. if you also look more into it, you can maybe buy an extension tube magazine for your shotgun. I say “maybe” because I don’t know if your country allows that. The pump can work even with the hammer cocked. just be sure to keep the safety on whilst loading a shell in the chamber. Çeviri benim için biraz kabaydı ama doğru anladığımdan emin olmak istiyorum. @@traviscochran6280 they’ll be there for awhile but not forever. You have time but I don’t recommend lingering. Their products are great! I’ve seen so many positive reviews on it from people on YT who own some of their products. Get what best fits you but I recommend doing your research. Remember, a lot of their products are from parts kits that date back to/from 1950s-1990s (excluding modern firearms like modern AR15s). I don’t know if they perfected them or just made them, I think they just made them because the M16A1 I have burns fast and it burns everything unlike the modern M16A1s you see from PSA/H&R.

@@chungnguyen8638 I believe that is the full length. The barrel alone is 20 inches long. One thing that’s different when it comes to the M16A1, is that the buttstock is slightly shorter than those of the M16A2 and up. If Eugene Stoner was still alive though, I bet you could ask him hahaha

Well I wouldn’t say a Mini-14 is less money…😅 M16s are AR15s and M4s, while yes they’re the same, some people like to see them as different because of small details, which is fine. You can add wood stocks to AR15s, M16s, and M4s as well. I just chose not to. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)

I understand and I also believe it would’ve been a little cheaper to build it myself. Unfortunately I don’t have the proper knowledge, experience, and tools to build these. Sure I can learn it but I’ve been wanting an M16A1 for years. All of these ones are from Vietnam so they’re most likely going to be damaged. You can get new ones from places like PSA. They make brand new ones. When it comes to Atlantic Firearms and Southern Tactical, it’s more of a gamble. They don’t have an option of getting a more cleaner M16. Still, I love the piece of history and battle look to it. It adds character, in my opinion.

Funny because I am also in Texas. I love M16A1’s! Especially if they’re the ones from 'Nam.

So my friend met this mid 70 year old guy at a pawn shop they started talking guns the old guy ended up selling my friend that m16 and a SW 629 for $3500 . Thing is the colt is fully auto my friend knows he can’t have it but he couldn’t resist… it’s kept in his walk it gun safe he has in his custom home he built he’s never shot it it’s in mint condition he’s had it for around 5 years . What should he do ? Is there a way to legally own it ?

@@MrColdwatercanyon the dude has an actual full auto M16? Jeez. Well, to own those “legally”, you have to file it as a Class III firearm to the ATF. Signs some papers and pay a big tax stamp to keep it. Aka, bullshit. For the sake of the conversation, fuck the ATF, but if he doesn’t want to be in trouble, then he should go to his local gun dealer and ask these questions and have him do all the paperwork and once he does have it, then he can file in the machine gun. Cuz if he does it right there on the spot, he might get in trouble if they have those strict FFL gun dealers where he lives.

I know the feeling. Thankfully the Mark 1s-3s aren’t that expensive nowadays if you ever want to get one again. At least where I live, they aren’t.

@@docbrowning true true! The one I had belonged to my dad and made it sentimental. Unfortunately someone stole all my guns after my dad died. Someone literally came in with a truck and trailer and cleaned out our house the night after he passed.

@@docbrowning it ended up as a homicide investigation and when the ME decided it wasn't homicide they stopped investigating everything. Never got anything back or any closure unfortunately. Thanks for responding!
