2022/2023 Toyota Tacoma Rear Axle Shaft Nut Weld Spatter Recall. Torque spec for the axle nuts is 27 ft lbs check them so see if they are tight, also look for weld spatter around the area of the nuts and make sure the nuts are not tightened on top of weld spatter which will keep them from seating flat against the axle housing. This is a 2017 RUF Porsche CTR by Almost Real, it is 1/18 scale and the detail is very good on it for the price point. RUF builds the real car in their own factory, the tub is carbon fiber and they make the bodywork as well. The engine puts out over 700 horse power. This makes a nice addition to any collection.

I had installed an aftermarket TRD Pro style grille and aftermarket TSS sensor but I found the aftermarket grille would get water spots from morning dew and even car wash that were very hard to remove. I found a new method to secure the garnish cover for the TSS sensor on TRD Pro grilles, instead of fighting those push on lock washers that Toyota uses take a 5/16 course die and cut threads into the two posts that the push on lock washers slide onto. Empyer Off Road TRD Pro Grille With TSS Garnish. No errors from the TSS system with this grille and garnish. Make sure you fully seat the slip lock washers on the two plastic pins at the top corners of the garnish cover. I upgraded the high beam to a set of VLEDS LED bulbs, the high beam uses the same H11 bulb as the low beam, this upgrade gives you a nice white light and works well.

J&L Catch Can Extender To Hold 6oz of Oil. I used a little bit of Permatix Blue Threadlocker on the original can and the extender to help to keep it locked onto the extension tube. That will allow me to replace the o ring some day as it ages. The extension tube then screws onto the oil separator unit and seals with the o ring just like the original can did.

Here is the oil in the catch can on my 2023 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 engine after 2,000 miles. I have 3,000 miles on the catch can when I checked it at 1,000 miles there was not much oil in the can and add in the oil from 2,000 miles and it has collected right at 1/2 ounce of oil in 3,000 miles.
