It's one of the worst colors you can get on any car, so definitely not the perfect spec. Still nice since it's a C8Z though.

My guess on the CF parts issue is that the cars were being held up due to the supplier and GM wanted the cars out. So they put the carbon flash onto it to get it out the door. They shouldve let the customers know as of course most of us would be fine with it.

The greyish black pasty stuff is likely clutch pack material. The ELSD in the C7 still has actual friction discs (four frictions per side and alternating steels). Like any friction assembly (brakes, clutch, diff etc.), they slip, wear, and shed some material in doing so.

A long die heart GM owner and grudge drag racer I've owned 7 3 -5th gens LS base car since I was 15 . Different dynos numbers are all off by a little to a lot from other Dyno shops. Saying that I'm byest but switching from T56 speed grudge drag cars to my 1st Th400 auto experience due to being used to stick cars I've owned out running Auto cars , last highest cap win bet was 3k with a coyote mustang, we ran street rules to the 1l8 mile we just not long long ago used dynos numbers to Gage were we was it as far as a grudge race. It's too many verables dealing with dynos on why they never consenttive and due to Dynos due to the why we get those numbers it's not good for a car due to IDC how many fans or whatever you have trying to replicate real drag, street or any dig through a end race . Due to I've seen some guys not cm out alive couse of putting 7x7 extra pressure stress on a motor due to motor, trans ECT trying to cool can't recreate driving pulls on the street. Saying that the people who good at or been grudge racing since a kid understands . This new High HP numbers vs tunning on drag strip or street were you will spend 95 percent of time trying to win races . A street tune will have you put running anybody who focus on Dyno number queens like the 2jz Supra cars bk then , were called Dyno queens HP impressive, but get out run by a street, track built tune. All street track tunes have the biggest advantage due to knowing when you will break loose or wheelie due to over powering the conditions were you are Drag racing and betting big to reg $ on. Just don't go overboard get a ideal that your motor is safe with no deanation or spark knock ECT after y'all feel the tune is safe enough than finish further tunning on the type of roads and tracks you guys are actually racing to not lose a big grudge race. Betting $ race. Dyno is good but to hard to engines trans and ECT. Plus you don't even know what rpm , boost, nos shot hit will be to much or not enough out the 60Ft mark to be competitive and actually do good in grudge drag rivels unexpected drag race short min money and pride drag races.

Called it first on your channel some time back, but Porsche has just pulled out its big gun 992 GT2RS ahead of the ZR1 debut. This aint no coincidence either, and the world debut of the 992.2 and GT2RS was planned as such guaranteed. The C8 is simply wiping the floor with Porsche and sorry to say but that 166,000 dollar starting point for their GTS simply wont help the situation. Porsche is trying to go toe to toe with a does it all series that cannot be beat in looks or performance. You should make a vid about the subject because i keep hearing victims of propaganda speak of Porsche series cars in a better than Corvette way that simply dosent measure up with the C8 series.
