I can't tell you how much I love this band. I didn't expect it, but I am sitting here in tears.....

We had our group of metalheads and punks when we were teenagers. We went to an evangelical church for a time and hung out with Christian guys. That's when we first listened to Deliverance, and even though I am not religious anymore, I am a huge fan of these guys.

Just saw SACRED WARRIOR at Keep It True and they were great. In the 80s I had a local show on cable TV called Heavy Metal Battle and Bloodgood played a show in my hometown Frankenthal. My English was bad back then but they didn´t care. This is all so long ago and what I can´t remember exactly is why there was a Frontline office in our city, Frankenthal. I remember that there was a guy called Joshua running it. He also gave me a VHS with THE MESSIAH (videoclip) to play it in my show. This was LONG past their prime. ANYTHING from the first 2 albums, especially Human Sacrifice with the original band members, is way WAY better than this, and before Roger lost his soul and his mind, and blamed it on everyone else.

I love this version Jon, it’s new to me. My friend is a vet, and he has told me that he has several friends that have checked out early, and I can see the hurt on his face, and hear it in his voice, when he talks about them. I wish for him that his friends could have heard this, and let it soothe their souls before they gave up. This is such an amazing song, and you are such an amazing singer, songwriter, and person. Thanks for sharing, I still remember buying this CD from a Christian bookstore I found sold thrash like this and The Lead, etc, and the cashier I talked to a bit and he got me into checking and buying stuff like Petra was shaking his head, "how can you like this noise?" 😀 THIS album is awesome, it is too bad what happened to Roger. I guess he was never a true believer, he just used the scene, even though he knew scripture as well as any devil.

I was always sad when I see all these satanic bands do their vocals. I was sad because they got a voice that no Christian do not have. BUT now The Lord has shown to me I am wrong. He said “ Joe, listen to this man”. When you open your mouth to sing, those satanic bands are NOWHERE.
