Hello sir. If you do decide to do a video on high frequency trading. Please remind your viewers that one of the most important thing is having a high speed connection to the internet. Believe it or not microwave connection is better ( faster ) than fiber. A lot of smart savvy high frequency investors are using the old microwave towers as a means of communications. They are what we ( I ) call point to point. Plus the closer a person or company to a trading platform cuts down on trade time. I know this may sound crazy but it works. Well take care sir .😎

Suraj, I admire your efforts . As a trader of over 30 years, and having coded literally thousands of systems, at 11.48 what you are doing is called regression overfitting, or curve fitting I you want to be blunt. Yes, that will work, until exogenous data takes the underlying behaviour into another curve of behavioral pattern. The market is constantly changing. New players step up to the plate, older players leave. The share price, the index, the Bitcoin , what ever , is the sum total of the participants at any one time. I've had flame wars thrown at me in the late 90s , early 2000s for publically coding adaptive algos that constantly tune on the run. Much like a PID controller does (Proportional/ Differential / Integral). Now days, 24 years later, everyone is doing it. Sentiment Trading. Been there , done that. I've watched in Real Time, pump and dump schemes, along with Twitter like streams (not Twitter) with real time commentary. I discovered Sentiment is a back wards looking behaviour. In other words you can't predict from it.. Its like trying to drive a car while your looking at the road behind you through the rear view mirror. Works while the road direction doesn't change. Your other problem then becomes one of reacting to smaller and smaller time increments of share price behaviour. Eventually you begin trading noise. Your trading efficiency needs you to (roughly speaking) create 2 units of money for every 1 unit of financial frictional losses (trading costs, front running / stacking of orders from the big end of algo town. What your up against here is players that are manipulating the order flow at the TCP layer of the OSI . They manipulate the order flow by front running your order with preplaced orders. TCP messaging stack driven is FIFO. So these preplaced orders will always preceed your order. They observe your order coming in at one server away from another server with a matching counter order ( the stock exchange is not one server, it is many spatially distributed servers. An algo trader / market maker, trading firm has already placed two opposing orders (a buy and a sell ) TCP message that's 99% complete, then trigger the appropriate trade to profit on your trade. I've given you enough that you can study this up and work out details for yourself. I'm not saying you can't make a profit, but I am saying that the market is so g©d d@mm efficient that you will find out difficult to arbitrage short term gain. My take , and it seems to work, is to find shares that exhibit the lowest short term noise (the least non random behaviour and trade that on a long term horizon). Use an FFT to determine the amount of spectral short term noise. Remembering that short term in the temporal domain equates to higher frequencies in the frequency domain. You can nuance it a little more by understanding the non linear behaviour of the stock using phase diagrams ( time T on the X axis. Time T - 1 on the Y axis). As a last comment, supply and demand always drives behaviour. So look at what drives demand and look amounts those shares first. I've found what works, it only took 30 years of hard grind, reading hundreds of books (their available 4 sale BTW, I don't need the training wheels anymore) and trading, trading, trading. Good luck. I admire your tenacity. Ive watched you grow and mature over the years. You've got what it takes. There are a couple of other identifiers for shares, but enough here for now.
