F80 M3 comp VRSF single mid (Interior)
2018 M3 comp with VRSF mid pipe (secondary cats and resonator delete). Casual driving home.
At around 5:00 minutes in is where I enter the neighborhood and you get an idea for the burbles (factory tune at the moment), I’ll let it BM3 back on the car in a couple of weeks.

In another video, you mentioned that the intake makes a horrible whistling noise but I don't seem to notice it here. And how did you make it so mph shows up on the middle screen in the dash
It whistles quite loud under 1/4 throttle (driving super easy but accelerating enough to be gaining boost), it’s due to the turbine style of the factory turbo. Nothing you can do about it unless upgrading to the K04 turbo…. Only bothered me for a couple weeks, no other turbo car quite had that whistle. I easily because used to it. To get the MPH it’s one of the toggle buttons on either the turn indicator or washer wiper indicator stick. Can’t remember. I’ve owned 5 more cars since this one
Does this have the exhaust button (Performance exhaust (valved)) near the volume control?
This was the first year it was made. No specific “exhaust button” but I found a way to start it with valves open, don’t remember how. I was and out of the hospital and doctors for 10 months after I finished the build. I got T-Boned at 70mph in the car Now in an M3 competition and it has a secret way to start with valves open as well
Any other videos of the exhaust? Debating on this or the magna flow 11385 replacing the baby resonators and straight piping the center.
Does this have the PE?
This was the “parts bin car” 1st year they experimented if they were going to continue this or not….. I can tell you it has the AMG mufflers as my neighbors car does not and mine is much louder.
Hey man nice car. I got a C450 and thinking of doing a resonator delete. Did it make the car any louder? What about the drone inside the cabin? Thank you
It did make the car overall louder. It didn’t seem like it as I drove away from the muffler shop. But living with it everyday it’s definitely noticeable. Most of my neighbors have commented how Good the car sounds under load. The biggest difference in noise is when you cross 3800 RPMS and NOT in full boost. Just driving the car like 1/2 throttle and shifting around 5,000 is the biggest deal. Watch my other video Inside the cabin to understand better
Stock muffler?
Which x pipe brand is that one?
Does it sound raspy to you or its just more throaty ?
'Centre resonator'... do you mean the first one, just after the HFC (the smaller one) ?or do you mean the 2nd/larger one that's further down, just about where the rear seats are.
This is the Large center resonator that was deleted. I still have the small one upstream by the HFC
vdubjetta02 I see, seems quieter on your vehicle than usual... I’m assuming it’s due to the dual muffler on the avant maybe
This is the case yes.... My iPhone couldn't capture the sound that well, but it makes enough noise to enjoy driving it. After owning a 110 Decibel Porsche and a 119 Decibel Golf R.... this is a nice tame sound for a family wagon, but enough that I still enjoy it. @@eeiko321
No check engine lights?
None. Its a High flow cat so it won't throw any codes. Intake won't either
Ok good looking to do a HFC as my cat is done.
Why are you short shifting
I didn't have my tune on yet, stock ecu and stock k03 fall on their face over 5,000 rpms... no real need to take it to redline for purpose of video or at all.
hory sheet O.o
Did u get the 42dd 3 inch catback? If not what kind?
MrChaotic I had a 3" 42dd downpipe and I custom made the 3" catback using a magnaflow 1 to 2 muffler
how bad is the drone with this setup?
The resonator delete made a difference throughout the RPM band.... mostly heard with the windows down in the jeep. Windows up is hard to tell a difference. Maybe added 2-3 decibles throughout the RPM range
When you deleted the resonators alone did it make a decent difference or not a difference? Thanks
Hey, it runs really well with the intake. I also have catchcan, and a Diablo Intune on the car. Also recently installed a 3" dynomax muffler with Internal X pipe
hey, how is it running since you installed the CAI? does it need a tune or everything is fine so far?
That was a manual right? Autos suck
Haha like the way it sounds how much boost? I own a 97 jetta somewhat built but still working on it
No, I was running 21 PSI
Do you have stock boost?
k bud enjoy your lack of knowledge and overpaying some fuck head mechanic to do shit for you.
GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE....You ITT TECH wanna be mechanic LOL
LOL do this yourself jackass. its a fucking car not an unknown piece of machinery. but this dude never worked on a car in his life so what does he know.
the only thing you smoke is pole
Hey thanks, check out my other video "b6 s4 - catless fullback reving" it's extremely loud in person

Now THAT sounds MEAN!
damn sounds like such a monster
sounds real gooood a++
Idk what drug ur on, but i own a 02 jetta gls 1.8T, with a fully upgraded turbo, full intake system, blow off valve, front mounted inner coolers, wider turbo inlet pipes and a cat back exhaust, with an ECU and some body work done such as headlights tail lights, rims , body kit, underglow, lowering springs and a carbon fiber hood...and its the best car iv ever owned, civics are gay and riced out to the max, i smoke most common street legal cars around
@xXWeltchXx hahaha unless u have money to spend...i would suggest dont get a JETTA...ive been through around 12cars...the worst cars that ive had are JETTAS...specially the 1.8t auto tiptronic...do your carfax before u buy anything...u cant find parts anywhere...the oil change is expensive...the coolant is $50 unlike regular $20..the mechanics charge u x2 or x3 for a stupid repair...AUDI and VW come expensive...nothing like a reliable Camry or Civic..Ghettosishh but MONEY SAVERS
@vdubjetta02 Damn that's a lot of miles. I hear ya with it. I travel 30k a year and it seems like a lot. So far all of the cars on here that I've seen were all nice though lol.
@jmartr34 In hinsight I should have kept the 2.0t as well, but no I sold it. I am trying to dedicate the S4 as more of a weekend car and am looking for a DD right now. I drive 50,000 miles a year and don't want to rack 100,000 miles up in 2 years on this S or I will just be buying another car in 2 years (which I have a habit of doing) 6 cars in 6 years for me!
That sounds great. Do you still have the 2.0T as well?
@xXWeltchXx I have owned so many cars since this one it's hard to remember. I think the full exhaust was around $850
@kmort22 Just a cold air intake and a Diverter valve
hey dude how much did it cost to get ur exhaust to sound like this? im going to buy a jetta soon as i sell my truck but i want that v8 sound still
how much was it that sounds so sickkk and u have any blow off valves?
did you have the dual tip or single? im trying to get the same sound out of mine...
video didn't upload right, turn speakers way up to hear
@miguel240689 No BOV, Check my pull away video... It's a Cold air intake with a DV
what kind of bov/dv you have?
@soxonmyfeet your fine, but I have had 2 more cars since this one, all modded and after a while I start forgetting which mods were on which car.
@soxonmyfeet If you check out my take off vid, I have all my mods listed 3-4 times in replies there. I had virtually every bolt on possible to the stock turbo
(I read the title as 3" turbo back to mean catless... )
@vdubjetta02 Well........ Indeed, you point out exactly why I made the comment I did... The video description says cat back, and mentions a race cat... So, pardon my confusion xD
@Pip2andahalf your kidding right? Not only does the title say TURBOBACK, about 6 of my posts explain my 3" downpipe & so does the description.
Lol wait so was it a turbo back or a cat back?
