College grads don't earn $1m a year more over their lifetime vs people with no degree because that study was done on people who are over 25 yrs of age and doesn't take into account people who have been working since they were 18. Especially in an area like Boston or most of the north east, there are plenty of jobs where you can make a lot of money doing blue collar jobs. The reason that study even exists is because the gov was pushing college loans on kids coming out of high school to convince them to take out a fat loan from Fannie mae to go to college.

There's a subtly that this movie hit on if you're not from Boston which you'd never know. The mix of people from Boston, and the intellectual class, and they're culturally clashing all the time. Which is a good thing, but especially when Decaprio is being interviewed for the undercover position, you'd understand the Class - ism in Boston. It's like an unacknowledged spot on observation but yeah.

My mom is a kind Christian woman. She saw Frank’s story and even after all the terrible crap Frank did in his life, she still believed that he could be redeemed. Which unfortunately only confuses me deeply. We’re is the line drawn? when is too much too much? When is it too late to go to heaven? If god could forgive anybody, then what is the point of living up to a high spiritual code if all it takes for someone to reach heaven, is to feel bad about their sins and repent out of fear, once the damage was already done? I don’t believe it should be that easy.

I saw this the year it came out, I've watched it on VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, Streaming....I've written papers and debated this film! And not until your video did I ever realize how Vincent accepts defeat which ultimately saves Lauren...I (of course) realize that Neil's inability to let Waingro go is what brings him down...but only now do I see what Vincent does that Neil can't. After half a decade, this video has only become even more relevant. Mattel has expanded SO 👏 DAMN 👏 MUCH👏 and the ideas only get dumber. For every good sculpt/figure, theres roughly 5-7 pieces of garbage. There are dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures being made that are so bizarre and obscure when we haven't even properly covered all of the mainline dinosaurs (Corythosaurus has been in the franchise for 23 years and has inly had one toy release: In the hammond collection). Packaging seems less and less reminiscant of the "Jurassic" style, making them seem like generic dinosaur toys rather than a known brand/franchise while somehow raising the prices. Any new good looking figures are produced in lower quantities and get bought out by scalpers online, then the retailers like Walmart and Target are left with the garbage that stays on shelves for two years (JWD figures STILL available somehow). Not a playset in sight, nonsensical 93 classic releases, more big honking sauropods to waste valuable space, JWD Dinosaurs already in the Hammond Collection and mediocre releases for the legacy collection. There are so many options now that its actually hard to make a purchase, because going to the aisle not only boggles the mind with madness due to the price, but overstimulates it with the sheer number of options. I sure hope that mattel gets their shit together, because that magic that they conjured up in 2018 is definitely diminishing here in 2024. Hammond Collection is kind of a saving grace, but the company's bad habits have managed to infiltrate this line as well.

i would take my stomp and strike t rex figure apart 5 years after buying it as i regretted buying it, along with other hasbro jurassic world toys and I took it apart back in late 2020 since I have the Mattel Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom thrash and Throw T rex which is way better, though it would be declassed by its successors years later, especially the Hammond Collection one that I hope one day to get.

I would've love to have gotten at least 5 of the Gunner Gordon figures as i would've turned 4 of them into troopers by replacing the Gunner Gordon heads using Marauder Gun Runners heads and helmets to turn the extra Gunner Gordons into troopers.
