Essa peça é braba já toquei ela
I had the honor of playing this under his direction as guest conductor of all star band way back when. Brings back so many memories
I absolutely love the trumpet fanfare
Playing now
Marvelous piece of work simply splendid
We are performing this song in my band class in high, any tips for a new tuba player
OMG! Played this High School band. Bass Clarinet.
Played this song in high school. Loved it very much
Im playing it in middle school
Still one of my favorite pieces I've played. I conveyed more emotion through my horn than ever before on my last performance of it.
Got to play this in band as a euphonium and loved this piece. It was always a good day when we would play this.
We played this in my 7nth grade year and gotta say it pretty good (tuba player)
Played on 3rd clarinet and is very fun
I played Timpani on this song
1:07
Glad I could find this song here after remembering it from Middle school band and what I thought was the prettiest Flute solo I'd ever played! ❤❤❤
Love this music ,20 yrs later .
Trumpet solo was my favorite
Playing flute in this, we have a super pretty part
our band played this at an IGSMA competition yesterday. I played as the flute part :) it was fun, i think we all sounded amazing! I would love to play this again hopefully, i just don’t dont wanna play the ending because our director made us repeat it so many times.. i’ll always love this song, our band sounded so good!
You know the band director is old when he chooses a song from 11 years ago
We played it…
nahhh we're playing this tomorrow😭😭
Swearingen is fun until u realise all of his song has this slower part that takes up 1 and half pages that sounds off
We have one clarinet and one trumpet… thank god the are really good
I remember playing this for my last concert in middle school with my favorite teacher. Every time I listen to this song I cry lol
We played this last year in our band and I came back to remember my favorite piece of my high school band experience!
after not being in a symphonic band for 12 years, the melody of the woodwinds at 5:18 was stuck in my head at random all day and I JUST HAD TO FIND THIS AGAIN
I just got snare on this
1:07 Aw yeah. This takes me back to my middle school years of 2005 to 2008 and makes me feel great pride as a former clarinet player!
Saw this on my seniors book
I’m locked in a basement

My brother played this, and last night 7th grade did this one of the greatest band songs.
Here it in person is great and the Trump solo and berysax solo brought me to tears
내가 질리도록 하는것
I love how everyone is talking about playing this in high school band lol, I played this in 7th grade band because my class excelled and we had a lot of good players!
I played this in like 7th grade too. For some reason I always associated this song with vikings... one of my faves!
@@nitasu987for me i associate it with pirates
Play baritone but because we have no horns we play the horn cues. Awesome song!
I'm playing this as first trumpet for my high school and I love it
Played this in early high school, probably 7 or 8 years ago now. Still feels just tremendous
I'm a clarinet and we are currently working on this for our spring concert in my 8th grade class, its really fun.
Indeed! Every part has something really cool to play. Epic counter melodies or ramping up the hype in the fast parts. Hope they like it at your concert
BRO SAME we gotta go to do this for an assessment, sort of like competition wish us luck man 🤞🏽
I love this song regardless of how difficult it is to play for me (as a flutist)
I played first clarinet. This was fun to play. Long but fun
I’ve searched everywhere for this song. Brings back so many memories.
We played this song at my high school graduation in 1999. It was also the last song the band director conducted before he retired the same year.
