in question 27 ,as the cross sectional area increases, why would the resistance decrease by the factor of 4?
Diameter is twice, so cross sectional would be 4 times greater therefore resistance reduces by 4 as resistance is inversely proportional to cross sectional area

Why is 29 C? Isnt the flow of electrons from - to + (the smaller line to the taller line)? Why did you use the conventional current?
Current is always taken as conventional current unless it is specified. So in the most cases, current is flowing from + to - I.e. taller line to shorter line
