I always felt like no one cared how broken Damon was. They only saw the bad things in him. When He did something “wrong” they got angry at him and let him down. Everyone sees how bad it was for stefan to be ripper and how much pain Damon caused for him. But Damon was never really loved. He was never first to anyone starting with his parents. Giuseppe kept him in terror for 25 years. And his favourite child obviusly Stefan was. Lily let Damon suffer because of something she did. He let his own child to be burned. And she left him (also stefan). Then Katherine. She pretended like Damon was important for her and she made the brothers argue over her. But Damon didn’t recognize this. Katherine “died” and he thought she was the love of his life, and right after that his father killed his sons then his brother turned him into a vampire. With this he also lost Stef because at the begining he was a ripper so Damon left him. But no problem, He found out that Kath isn’t dead, He can save him. So he waited 150 years. But during this he lost his brother roughly 3-4 times. And some of this wasn’t even his fault. Then in the 50s He became an augustine Vampire. He got tortured every day for years. And he had to leave “die” his only friend, and he turned his humanity off. He became a killer everyone hates. But years later He returns to Mystic Falls to save Katherine. But he has to figure out that she is not in the thomb and she doesn’t care about him. He has nothing. But slowly he started to like Elena. But she hated him, judged him. As everyone else. And the time passes by, Katherine comes into play and she easly tells him the she never loved him, she loves stefan. Damon feels like his whole life was useless. With time he gets better man but except Stefan and Elena everyone hates him. He starts to have deeper emotions towards Elena. He fells in love. And Elena rejects him, not once. But when Queen Elena (no hate, just ahh it fucks me up, but i kinda like elena) turns into a vamp she decided she wants Damon, but she told him 3 days ago that it’s always gonna be stefan. Whatever, they come together, they are happy for 3 hour then they finds out that Elena is sired to him. And over this times of course everyone in the show judges Damon’s and a Elena’s relationship with Caroline in the lead. Because Damon is a bad man and he doesn’t deserve an angel like Elena. Okay, season 5 Stefan is in the water, Elena dreams about him but Damon is her boyfriend. No problem coz it’s not her fault, but Damon clearly felt bad. After weeks they found stefan and she only cared about stefan what i can understand a little bit but not as much as Elena did. Damon became the 2nd. Again. Season 5s end and s6s begining Damon dies for the town and he had to leave his love and his brother. He is in the prison world with Bonnie and he spends his days daydreaming about Elena. While the girl asks Alaric to take away her good memories about him. When he finally gets home the only one he really loves doesn’t wanna see him plus she got new boyfriend (if We can call Liam Elena’s boyfriend) But after all they solve their problems with Elena but the only, precius Lily comes into the picture. Damon thought that his loving mother died in a diesease but turned out she looked for another family. And left hers behind because of them. When it seemed like Damon kind of forgived to his mother turned out that she told Kai to send Elena to coffin. He wanted to kill her. And his family who ruined his life what just got better. He wanted to kill Julien (and with this Lily too) but Stefan stopped him. They say that he was selfish. But he just finally wanted his own happines. And you know what? That’s why he was the only one who got it in the end. Because He was the only one who never had it. He was never first, and was never loved. In the end He got everything

This was SO GOOD! Edit: Just watched it again month later and I REALLY wish I good give it more thumbs up. It's beautiful it's perfect the editing is great. I know I will rewatch dozens and dozens of times.
