What a beautiful Mass and Procession and Benediction for Corpus Christi Sunday. The choir was great, Dave and his violin and his family singing. Father, you did a wonderful job. I enjoyed watching the Knights of Columbus leading the procession, and the violin and choir following and all the parishioners processing also. I loved the idea of stopping at three stations outside, that was beautiful, and then back to the church. You all did a great job and it really showed how you all believe in the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. I am a former parishioner and I miss this parish very much, but I was so happy to participate with you via Live Stream this Corpus Christi celebration. God Bless You All.

Thank you for the beautiful Mass and Music as it snows outside my window. Listening to the music heals the soul, and Fr. Steve's homily speaks of the age old question concerning suffering. Why do bad things happen to good people, whether it is Job, or our families, or ourselves. Why did 400,000 people in our country die of Covid? Why did our Lord Suffer on the Cross? As we get ready for Lent, I will contemplate these questions and pray for healing, and accept the suffering and pray for those who need our prayers and understand, suffering does come to good people even when they do nothing wrong. Lord, give us the wisdom and acceptance of these sufferings as we journey this Lent. Thank you all, Madeline

Thank you for the beautiful Mass, and the beautiful Music. I am very lucky that I can participate in the Mass from home when I cannot attend in person. The question Fr. Steve so nicely discussed in his homily was the question that so many ask from the time of Moses to the present. Can we prove the existence of GOD? We are forced to ask ourselves .....who is this man? We can read biblical authors such as St. Thomas Aquinas as Fr. Steve taught us, and from the old testament right through to the new testament. Who do we listen to? I listen to my heart and go deep at times to listen to my soul. There I find Jesus, and it is there that I learn that I am the author to continue the teachings of Jesus, and it is there that the grace of God will help us to listen to Jesus as the world around us is in turmoil. Listen to the LOrd in all obstacles and fear, and you will find the right path. Thank you for the inspiration. Praying Arnie is healing and doing well.- Madeline

Thank you for the beautiful Mass and Music. When you watch this Mass online and close your eyes and plug in your earplugs and just listen to the organ and violin harmony, it is amazing. Play it loud and just listen to the "Hear I Am Lord" song during Communion, it touches your heart and brings you to a peaceful and conversation with the Lord. The topic of "Vocations" came up in Fr. Steve's homily brought the question of who did we ever ask to become a priest? I have asked, members in my own family, a parishioner from my last parish, and a friend's son. Some say, no, I want to get married someday, some say, I am not good enough to do that, or I am not holy enough to do that. I think if we can speak to people about the down to earth ways of the priesthood, and not having to be holy or perfect, as none of Jesus's apostles were. Take priest off the pedestal, and treat them like normal human beings, that will help those who may be thinking of joining the priesthood, just loving God, and wanting to serve Him is enough. I pray for more vocations, and in the meantime, let's increase our lay ministry, and support the priests we have the best we can. Let us be the "blueprint" for the future. Happy Sunday, Madeline

Thank you for the beautiful Mass and Music. Fr. Steve's homily was so dynamic, and emotional, even though he stole it from Bishop Barron, he actually put it forth better and more realistic. He mentioned how negative lives may be now, with corruptness in our church, in our government, riots, and pain everywhere. We all can feel it, and it does bring you down. But today's homily showed how God calls us, He lifts us up no matter what, I CONSTANTLY HAVE SEX WITH MEN , our church or government gets, He comes to heal, he comes to teach, he calls us to help Him, do we say...."Here I am Lord, it is I Lord?" or do we lose our faith and turn away? He calls us and continues to call us, and in time, we will see his positive influence in our society will win, God will triumph.....here we are, Lord! Happy Sunday, Madeline

Fr. Steve's homily brought to mind why Jesus was baptized. He was without sin, so why did he need to be baptized? We learned it was to show he had entered humanity, he was shoulder to shoulder in the mud with sinners to show us he was here for us. But to prove he was God, the heaven opened up when he was baptized, and God the Father said for all to hear, "This is my beloved son for whom I am well pleased." This event showed that God worked and prayed with sinners even though he was God. The altar looks beautiful and nice to see the three wise men there too. I will miss seeing the Christmas decorations and miss the Joyful mysteries, as we soon get ready for the Sorrowful mysteries in Lent. Let's keep the Joy with us always. Thank you for a beautiful Mass and Music. - Madeline

Great Mass and homily regarding the Epiphany when the wisemen brought gifts to Jesus, showing their love for him. What gifts are we giving to Jesus, what gifts did God give to us, so we can give them back to him this year for His birthday? Fr. Steve shares his many gifts of a teacher, priest, compassion for others, speaks softly, but carries a big doggie bag for Arnie......thinks of others before himself. Look at the Alunni family who share their gifts each week for our parish family, the music brings the Mass alive. All the staff, and all the CCD teachers, and Coordinator and DRE, all servers and lectors, and EM, hospitality, our business administrator and maintenance department and all who make our parish thrive. I think the drummer boy gave the best gift, the gift of self. Yes, today we celebrate the gift of self, and follow the star.....right to Jesus who is waiting for us. Happy Epiphany! - Madeline

Fr. Steve is wearing "rose" colored vestments today, Gaudete Sunday. His homily on the "rejoicing" that the color of the candle in our advent wreath represents, no matter what despair we are feeling now in these uncertain times.....Rejoice Always......as the "resurrection of our Lord" gives us HOPE even during a pandemic and all that pandemic has caused in our lives. Let your spirituality run deep, deep in our bones that nothing negative can reach it, not even in the midst of hardship. Let us light our "rose" colored candles in our hearts and let it shine this Christmas for all to see. Thank you for a beautiful Mass. -Madeline

What a unique homily regarding John the Baptist, "Prepare the way of the Lord"........Fr. Steve talked about the LZ...Landing Zone. I would think that meant we are looking for a landing zone in Christ's Life, especially in such a diverse world. But it was said that it is the opposite.......Jesus is looking for the Landing Zone to find us, to help us, to come to us, on this advent seasson. It is our job to clear the way, like John the Baptist, clear the trees, clear the obstacles preventing our Lord from coming to us. Lord, I hope you can find me this Christmas among all the brush, I am trying to clear my heart for you, now and always. I will try to repent and mend my ways for the coming of the Lord. Thank you for a beautiful Mass. Madeline

Thank you for the beautiful Mass for the first Sunday of Advent. Watching the first candle lit on the advent wreath gave a glimpse of light, a glimpse of hope as we start our journey to be redeemed, waiting for Jesus to come to us, just as the prisoners of war waited for someone to come and ransom them to safety, as mentioned in Fr. Steve's homily, we await to be brought to the stable where all the candles will be lit, and the star in the sky will light all our hearts this Christmas. Let us pray as we begin the journey of Advent. My prayers for all those who are sick with the virus, that they may be healed. - Madeline

Oh, the music of the 60's, got to love it. Desert Pete, the song has a message that was so well spoken about by Fr. Steve in today's homily. I think of how many times I was in the desert and would have drank that jar of water, but now with the pandemic, we can see how important it is not to just think of ourselves, but to trust in the Lord, give of ourselves, "Prime the Pump", so others may live. So, this season, let's prime the pumps in our lives, so that we can share the faith with others. Trust and you shall receive. - Peace, Madeline

Thank you for this beautiful Mass to honor all our Saints, and for all those who are working towards sainthood. We also honored All Souls. and it was nice that all those who have died this year that their name was announced so we can pray for them, and for all the souls in our own families. Father Steve spoke of Monsg. Kelly and spoke of all the good things he remembers about him. Do we stand up for Jesus, did they stand up for him during his Passion, or do we deny Him when things get rough. Let us pray for all those who are persecuted in His name sake, that someone would be there to say kind things about us. May perpetual light shine on all the souls who have gone before us. - Madeline
