In the final installment of our Christmas in July tag series, I do some watercoloring and incorporate some fun fold tags and my favorite critters to create these tags. I had to record while littles were sleeping, and I wasn't about to start this voice over again, so I apologize and hope it isn't too distra...

Cute.
The binding on the edge without glue is there for a reason. If you cut that off, you could get glue seep out all over. Ask me how I know. What a mess.
@troyermish91011 well that makes total sense. Thanks for watching and sharing that with me.
I liked your tour until. the end and everything was side ways. Difficult to see what you were showing..
@caroleanderson1106 ya, I was recording with my phone and didn't know about the whole auto-rotate thing at the time. Still learning. I will do another in the future and make it easier to watch. Thank you for watching and sticking with it. I appreciate you.
I like the pastels. (May I make a suggestion to turn down the volume of the music at the beginning.)
@sharzar5312 Thank you for watching. Sorry the music seemed to blast ya. I'll look into it.
These are so cute!

@jolynneb I loved the colors too! Thank you again for watching!

Genius way to use that awkward slanted wall space! 😊❤
Thank you! And thank you for watching!
Blown away by your creativity.
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching!
Fun room!
It took me 2 days of on & off, but I must say it was worth it. I didn’t want to have buyer’s remorse, but I’m on a fixed budget and like to eat out now & then. So, thank you so much.❤
I'm a big fan of eating out too so anything to save a crafty buck I'm down for! Lol! Thank you for watching and for your comment.
Thanks for sharing your creativity. Very different than the usual graduation cards.
They are very different but the overall design is one that could be adapted. Just change up the grad cap for whatever you need. Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate you!
@@dulynotedtx I will need to try this design in the future.
Your little guest designer did wonderful work, beautiful card!
Those are some precious times together. Sometime, I need to turn on the volume or let her do a voice over. Lol. Thank you for watching! My guest and I appreciate your time and sweet comment.
Beautiful cards, both look great
❤Love it so much❤
How much did you cut off as this is how I like spines to, not as wide.
I'm not sure what you are referring to. The pre-made spines that were plain (not die-cut) on the sections that didn't have the glue (the pieces that wrap around and are seen on the front and back of the book) I probably cut off anywhere between 3/4in -1 1/4 in. I just eyeballed what looked balanced to me. I hope that helps and answers your question. If not reply back and I'll try to answer better. Thank you for watching!
Sweet room and set up. I love having a die cutting section. Tfs Pea
Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you so much! I haven't bought yet, but the idea of the glue stick to use as well is genius!
I cant take credit for that genius. I saw someone post how they used those with their thermal binder and I really wanted to give it a try since those strips can get pricey. But glue sticks are cheap! I hope you try it and it's successful for you. Thanks again for watching!
Very pretty cards.
Thank you and thank you for watching.
Good idea on the swatch book!
It's such a helpful and useful tool for me. I appreciate you watching!
Although I appreciate your concept for the video, I found it very difficult to watch all the way through for a few reasons. After your intro with you in it, the top down view is extremely close up so you can’t quite see what all is happening. Also, about 22 minutes in, something must have happened to your sound because I hear your voice over but then you talking in the background saying different things. During this time as well, the view changes to where it’s so zoomed out that it’s hard to see what is happening like when you were showing where the glue was coming apart on the back cover. I’m not sure if it’s because of the way you’re filming and if you’re using your phone because you’re switching from holding your phone in different directions all in the same video so it’s making the overall video to not be full screen. I also cannot zoom in on my end because CZcams is telling me it’s a vertical video (like when you hold your phone like normal). I just thought I’d let you know because I’ve noticed this in basically all of your videos that I have watched as I have just come across your channel and have recently subscribed. I really wanted to enjoy your room tours but every time you switched to filming sideways from vertically, the video on our end is still vertical so everything I saw was just sideways. I am in no means trying to be negative at all, I just hope it’s helpful and you can maybe find a more suitable way to film so us viewers are able to watch and be able to see everything you’re wanted to share. I’m not sure if you ever watch your videos after you post them or not to make sure there aren’t any issues so I’m not sure if you are aware of how them come across for us.
I appreciate you watching and sticking it out. I do record on my phone and with unboxing videos or room tours I dont go back and watch them. When I make cards and do a voice over I'm obviously watching them as I do the voice over but again use my phone. I was not aware of the vertical to horizontal view thing and you not being able to zoom in. 😒 Sorry you had to watch the video with like a crazy awkward head tilt. I was struggling getting everything in the screen and so I tried to maneuver my phone holder and light into unknown territory for it. Thank you again for watching and sticking it out. I appreciate your time. Going forward I may have to do things a bit different so it's easier to watch. Thank you again.
I want those carousels! I have the tall 12x12 paper storage by stamp-n-storage in natural because they didn’t offer white when I bought it! I’m going to check out the carousels! Thanks for sharing!
They are amazing. They even have youtube videos showing you how to put them together. You can put it together by yourself, but I've found having an extra pair of hands very helpful. I think they now offer them in white and already assembled. I save the extra bucks and do it myself so I can buy more ink pads to fill them 😀 . They are a very handy storage solution for me. I think you'll love them. And thanks for watching!
Thank you for the information

Love these cards! They are so adorable especially with the colors you chose. I have done the same thing with embossing folders and sometimes I love it and sometime I'm just like nope. Sounds like a very worthy organization to donate cards. Thanks, as always, for sharing.
They are a very sweet and worthy cause. I had an aunt in a nursing home and she always loved sharing the things I sent to her with other residents and the staff. Brought her some sunshine in her last year or so. This cause is pretty special. Thank you for watching and your sweet comment. I really appreciate you.

This card is just adorable! Thanks for showing how to make such an impressive card with such basic supplies that most of us already have.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment and for watching!
Where did you get the wooden vinyl holders?
If you're talking about the ones on my ceiling, my husband made those for me. He's pretty handy. Thank you for watching!
Can I tell you how impressed I am that you completed the card (and @ beautiful card I might say) with your two year old next to you! Super-mom! Love the focus on using older products for those of us who are in a situation where we can’t be buying new products!
She loves to craft with me and it's a special time we get together. But there are sometimes where I can tell I am definitely dealing with a 2 yr old and my sanity gets tested. Lol. Thank you so much for watching and your sweet comment.
Love these! Really love that you did use the Tim Holtz word dies. Yes, those are very old but you’ve given them new life and they look awesome!
I think around now most people appreciate new life into older products. I know we are saving our pennies for some updates to our home, so I'm trying to be better about using what I've got. Thank you so much for your sweet comment and for watching.
Great tour, and your vinyl storage is awesome (even if you don’t use it that often). Did your husband make that as well? Let me know a good day to come play in your awesome room! 😂😂
He did make that for me. Ita been super handy and agreat use of that weird wall space. I'm gonna "commission" him to build me some cabinets and permanent shelving....some day. Lol. Thank you for watching! I'd love to have an adult crafting buddy!
Would you please tell me where you purchased those “7 drawer” units that are behind your desk? They look similar to IKEA Alex but have more drawers per unit. Thanks.
I purchased them from Amazon probably 8 years ago. They have survived several moves and held up well. They came with wheels but I didn't need them. But that was an option when I bought them. Thank you for watching!
@@dulynotedtx thanks for the info. On camera they look Very Good for 8 years old!
@marthakemmann3058 they still are in great shape. It was a fantastic purchase.
The card stock you get from the Card Stock Whse-is it the same color all the way through or does it have a white base? Awesome craft space. Thank you for sharing.
It is a solid core...so the same color throughout. I am really pleased with it. I've made some 3D projects with it and they are nice and sturdy. Plus the more you buy the more you save and they have flat rate shipping. (Not sure if I mentioned that in the video.) Thank you for watching!
Great craft room . Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Great space - thank you for sharing this video with us. I am really curious about the books you made to hold your stencils.
I came up with the dimensions for the one that holds my altenew alphabet dies on my own with the same principle of the stencil one. I followed this tutorial for the stencil storage and purchased the snaps from Amazon but you could probably do velcro dots if you wanted to. czcams.com/video/yzqxDZUhW7c/video.htmlsi=FJK7EruZZ5BsALwT Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you!
Love the room and organization!
Thank you and thank you so much for watching.
I have a slanted cieling and love the way you have ultilized yours--any details that you can share--thanks
I really love that vinyl holder and putting pics or cards on a string. I saw where IKEA had shelves for slanted ceilings, but they were no longer making them when I looked for them a few years ago. If you've got a handy husband, you might be able to convince him to make you shelves for slanted ceilings. I imagine places like pinterest and etsy have plans for them. They seem easy to build but are above my head. I'm not handy in that way at all. Hope these suggestions help. Thanks for watching.
I have a bonus room over the garage. Slanted walls like yours. It’s a challenge for sure!
What did you use to organize your little gems, sequins etc. ? The plastic cases.
I used plastic cases I purchased from temu. I since learned things about that company and no longer purchase from them. However, you can find similar items on Amazon. I used bead holders from them in the past. Scrapbook.com has organizers that are nice I just have not personally used them. Thank you for watching!
Your craft room is so well organized. Love it
Thank you! It is still a process that morphs and changes, but I am definitely pleased with it right now and it is working very well for me. Thanks for watching!
Nice space❤️
I love the idea of having everything together that I use for each process...no more searching the craft room for that one item. It's always the one thing you have to have, right?
That concept has really helped me. I can't remember what crafter I saw do that that inspired me to do the same but it's helped me be more creative and remember specific techniques that have gotten lost in my brain and use them again. Thank you for watching!
Love your craftroom. Thx for sharing ❤
Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it!
How do I join a challenge like this?
Lots of craft companies have challenges. Others are independent. Some challenge you to use different colors, different mediums, or they can get really specific to a certain release or item like a stamp set or die. A lot of crafters have holiday series they do during this time of year. This was just my version. I've played along with the Pinkfresh Studio challenge of the month in the past. The cool part is some challenges come with prizes. Others, it's just the fun of playing along and trying to stretch yourself as a crafter. I hope that answers your question. Thank you for watching my video. I really appreciate your time.
Your tags are so pretty! You have inspired me to make some tags - I so love to but haven't taken the time to. tfs Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much for watching. I am so glad you felt inspired! That makes my heart smile. I hope you and yours have a wonderful and merry Christmas as well!
I love this, n your daughter helping is priceless.
