Hi i am planning to pursue masters in business analytics from online mode . Currently working as a software developer in an MNC and want to shift my role to business analyst. So should i go ahead with it or not?

Esta, as usual, this video is very enlightening. You touched on some of the issues I have been concerned about in adopting AI. Now, I think we actually have more opportunities to structure our systems, work flows, human and other resources first, before engaging AI fully. We also need to take into consideration cultural aspects and how that will influence or train AI models, resulting in new ways of thinking.

I think it depends on the role! In more modern times now I think it’s also useful to have overview of cloud etc

Thank you for sharing. I am an aspiring BA currently in a graduate program and I relate to the challenges of self doubt and complex subject matter. I am fresh out of university and so I doubt myself a lot when I am doing my work which negatively impacts my self confidence and how I carry myself, my productivity and how others perceive me. The team I am in is a very techincal team in finance with senior developers/analysts and so the work I am currently doing also involves dealing with SMEs that are much more experienced who know more about the work I am doing than myself which makes me feel like I am not qualified to be in the same room as everyone else. I am currently studying towards the ECBA certification exam and get familiar with BA techniques/tools/best practices which I hope will make me feel more confident in myself and apply a different mindset when dealing with SMEs where instead of being overwhelmed with everything I don't know, I still try to learn and fill in the gaps.

I didnt catch what degree did you graduate from?

I did PMP and many points in common with BA!!! Waw

Thank you for this video. Yes, I have used Tableau. Although I still consider myself to be in the beginner stage of learning it, I like how it can easily help people gain insights from data and make decisions. It is very user friendly and easy to learn.

The BABOK refers to activities but fails to define an activity in the glossary. What is their definition of this? As I understand an activity could be conducting an interview which in turn is also a technique, or it could be maintaining requirements etc. Can anyone provide more detail?
