In this episode I pull a nasty dent on the bottom of the rocker panel. I know I could of used a torch to soften the metal, but I never had the need to own one.. I pulled the dent with brute force. Lol

where and how do you get this dashkit? I dont have a fiero but love to look at videos like this one for ideas for when Im ready to get one.
You can find it in Pennock’s forum. It’s called Amida G1 dash. It very expensive around 3,500

Nice car from a 87gt owner, my car is stock.
Too late now but there is a foam cushion that should of been put back in place under cowl or seam sealer to avoid dash rattles and vibration. Also how come no weld through primer and rust treatment? Hope the windshield fit without test ing it 1st it`s a crap shoot.Good luck with your project.

The rear was a direct bolt on installation. The front suspension required a lot of cutting and welding

It doesn’t mean it has to drive that low. When parked is completely air out, when driving is at a height where it rides smooth.

Yes! I have been working on many cars, I just didn’t have time to make videos until now. I was asked to make videos on the work I do. I started a video on the current restoration, a 1969 Pontiac Firebird. I posted two videos so far. I will be uploading a third on Monday or Tuesday. Thank you for the comment.

@@arttymelendez well I ran into some one with a built lt1 I looked at it it has aluminum angle heads roller rockers edelbroc high flow intake. The motor got installed with the stock transmission never got car running not wired.at the end the guy got sick had a heart attack. So the car is just sitting here. I asked a few people around and nobody seems to know about camaros. So I wanted to ask you what do you charge so my car can look like the one you built? But mine is not convertible. It's a hard top.

Always wanted the convertible. Mine has t-tops. It's the starship interior berlinetta but I put the 92 ground effects on it. What tire size and wheel backspacing do u have? That's a beautiful car, u did a awesome job.

Mr. Melendez, how did your dash and center console become so spectacular? Ive always loved the look of the Fiero GT, without the tail for me, but the very plain 80's look of the dash has always been a miss in my opinion. The car has plenty of engine and handling potential, thanks to the aftermarket, but that dash and the years of wear and tear are the problem for me. How did you manage to transform the interior and end up with one of the nicest Fiero's ive ever seen?
Thank you for your kind words. I too didn’t like the OEM dash, so I was determined to do something unique and classy. The credit goes to Amida who made this dash based of a Lamborghini Gallardo. The emblem on the passenger side was inspired by Ferrari 430 or something like that. I had the Fiero GT emblem specially made for this dash. In other words, the interior was inspired by exotic cars and yet not wanting to be a Ferrari.
@@arttymelendez , you are extremely kind and humble, I took the time to look at all your other videos, you are very adept at car interior installation. The only other interior I've seen (and I've looked hard) that gives the Fiero the proper updated appearance was a gentleman with a Chevy S10 dash installed in his Fiero, although the video was a fair bit older than yours (6 years or so). But yours is the best I've seen. I'll be watching your channel for the V8 conversion, when you get around to it. There are a lot of choices out there, the most popular and reliable seems to be the LS1/F40 swap. I am however impressed by what people are doing with the stout V6 3.8L Buick engines these days, easily pulling 400hp and even higher torque numbers with superchargers. It seems that as long as you beef up the valve train and put in a high lift cam, the bottom end can take the power. Good luck.
I do have a v6 supercharged engine in my Fiero, it’s pretty quick but I love the sound and power of a V8. Thank you for watching and subscribing.
