@@user-mq9ge1lq9w Nene was explicitly much stronger than her brothers, and with them she was able to push Dan and Runo to their last Bakugan Drago and Tigrerra. But the main reason she's so high is due to the fight against Tricloid. She put in about as much work against her as Billy did, which I for one find absolutely hilarious. Nene is at worst on par with Billy, arguably stronger than him.

The problem is that the Top Ranked Brawlers all got massive upscaling in the last section of the first season. They were all able to contribute about as much as the Brawlers were against the Hybrids, who at the bare minimum surpassed the test the Legendary Soldiers were giving them. In some cases like Julio he was hard carrying against Hairadee and Druman. I know the Legendary Soldiers got huge buffs for New Vestroia, but they don't exist with the first season's context. Nah, the "weak" trio are fine where they are. Dan had to use Drago's Fusion Ability against all of them to win, which lore wise doubles the user's power regardless of the actual G Powers shown. The Top Ranked Brawlers wouldn't stand a chance against Delta Drago at the time, let alone push him to his Fusion Ability unless they were using a Character card or something. If anything he had Runo ranked too low. She and Tigrerra got massive upscaling in the last 3 episodes by fighting Centorrior and getting the killing blow against Druman, who pushed Dan and Masquerade to a convoluted plan to win while holding back. Meanwhile Shun and Skyress got absolutely annihilated against Hairadee, whose only feats beforehand are fighting them, and Julio had to save the day.

@@user-mq9ge1lq9w I don't know about Chuy, but if I ranked Naga's Hybrid warrior's it would go like this: Tayghen: Above Marucho, maybe Julie. Marucho could not beat her on his own, he needed Jenny and Jewels for the Aquos Quadruple Chain attack. Main problem holding her back is that Preyas and Angelo/Diablo are by far the weakest Brawlers' Bakugan. Their base powers are the lowest, and their abilities are the weakest after everyone evolves. Tricloid: Above Julie, Julie needed Billy and Nene's help to win. Rabeeder: Hard to rank, probably above Tricloid. She did fight Hydranoid, but she has an anti-Darkus ability that just says no to Darkus Bakugan which is more of a huge favorable matchup than her own strength. Even then Hydranoid KO'd her in one attack anyway despite this, she's the hardest to rank since Klaus and Christopher are WAYYY weaker than Alice. Hairadee: Above Shun, absolutely annihilated Skyress and Harpus until Julio came in clutch. Centorrior and Druman: Above Alice/Masquerade, they pushed them and Dan to a multi-step, convoluted plan to beat them, while holding back. They weren't even really fighting to win the first time they were just stalling so Naga could reach Earth with no interference, and still pushed them that hard.

But that's vegito from black arc, when Goku and Vegeta weren't as strong as they were kn broly movie.

Ash’s Pikachu tied with his Latios, and Sceptile,Gible & Heracross took out Darkrai together. So in total 4 of Ash’s Pokemon were enough to take out two of Tobias’s Pokemon. Ash still has heavy hitters like Infernape which I’m assuming he didn’t use due to its injuries from Paul. Everyone else above him have huge feats. Top 3 are Dialga & Palkia tier. No way Tobias is getting through those three.

Dialga and Palkia are two of the gods of the whole verse that in the anime can destroy and recreate the universe on a whim, so Sheena and Cyrus who can control them are ranked above. Cynthia's Garchomp could clash with Palkia's Spatial Rend and didn't get one shotted from it Azelf by itself destroyed a black hole created by Dialga and Palkia, so Ash Dawn and Brock with the Lake Trio also scale to them Hunter J *herself* tanked hits from the Lake Trio like they were nothing, let alone with her actual Pokemon. If you don't want to count that her Salamence's Dragon Pulse beam struggled with Regigias and they stalemated, which isn't even her Salamence's strongest move. All three of Brandon's Regis had to use Hyper Beam together to have the same result against it, meaning her Salamence is as strong as all of them combined. Flint KO'd two of Cynthia's pokemon in a 6 on 6 and his Infernape was having a pitched battle with her Garchomp Palmer's Milotic was having a pitched battle against Cynthia's Garchomp in The Jewel of Life's intro By comparison, Tobias' feats are found lacking compared to the top 7. Yeah he has legendaries, but they don't have the feats or the lore to stand up to everyone ranked above

Thanks! But sadly the gym leaders are outdated by the time the Galactic Battle Season comes around. During the Lake Acuity Battle (takes place after Ash defeated Candice) Paul & Ash have had 10 days worth of training. Afterwards we just see a lot of heavy hitters like Mccann who trains Ash’s Gliscor. The same Gliscor who defeated Byron’s Bastidon. Who if you remember was fighting evenly if not was winning against Roark’s Rampardos Clyton who is ranked 30 defeated Ash’s Buizel and helped teach Ash’s Buizel to use Ice Punch. The same Buizel who defeated Crasher Wake’s Floatzel & tied with Maylene’s Lucario. Keep in mind both Gliscor & Buizel were WAY weaker when they fought both Maylene & Crasher Wake. Buizel Ice Punch > Clyton’s Mr.Mime > Buizel First Battle with Clyton >>> Maylene’s Lucario >= Buizel [VS Lucario & Floatzel] > Crasher Wake’s Floatzel

Also as we know from other sources (generation & Origins), the gym leader changes their team as the challanger have different badges... I belive that all the gym leaders are strong as Volkner when they have a full team of six and carries fully evolved pokemons

@Aceofknowledge1 Pokémon Generations & Origins are completely different from the anime. Volkner is stated in the anime to be the strongest Sinnoh Gym Leader, so no one competes with him. The Gym Leaders in the anime are different. Example; Roark uses the Cranidos who evolved into a Rampardos. Gardenia took in James’s Cancea and was able to compete with Barry’s Empeloeon at the time. Maylene had just become a new gym leader. Fantina travels around the region to become stronger with her pokemon. Byron was originally the gym leader at Orburgh City, Volkner used to be rivals with Flint and eventually gave up in battles for a while because his gym battles weren't satisfying enough. In the anime the Sinnoh Reigon has more than 8 Gym Leaders. Pokemon Origins has 8 Kanto Leaders but in the original anime there's more than 10! Try not to mix Origins & Generation with the anime dude. all three series have their separate worlds and functions.

There's a lot of power cliffing that happens over the course of the series. Let's give an example of every amp Ash's pokemon gets after defeating Wake, the lowest ranked gym leader. Staravia: Evolves to Staraptor, learns Close Combat Turtwig: Fully evolves to Torterra (two evolution tier amps), learns Rock Climb and Leaf Storm (Stronger moves than Bite and Razor Leaf + letting it regain some of its lost speed) Chimchar: Fully evolves to Infernape (two evolution tier amps), masters Blaze (at least an evolution tier amp since Chimchar one shotted Paul's Ursaring when Blaze was active but before that was getting bodied), learns Mach Punch and Flare Blitz (stronger moves than Scratch and Flame Wheel) Buizel: Trains his concentration becoming much stronger and faster, Learns Ice Punch Glisgar: Evolves to Gliscor, learns Fire Fang & Giga Impact, Learns to ride the wind better becoming a much more effective glider, Trains even more with Mcann becoming even stronger and an even better glider Pikachu: Nothing specific, but keeping up with everyone else's amps And that ignores the 10 days of training Ash had for the Lake Aquity battle, the month long training gap he had between beating Volkner and heading for the League, and the unquantifiable training amps he would get from having his pokemon spar with Dawn's or each other. And it's not like Ash is massively stronger than everyone around him either, most of the time even the one-off characters are at least relative to him at the time. Most gym leaders just get outclassed by the later seasons due to all the amps Ash and Dawn get over the course of the series.

She isn't. She's listed twice, once with her normal pokemon, and once with Mesprit. DP became a massive passion project so Chuy went all out on the editing for the major characters, and ESPECIALLY Dawn Ash and Paul.

The Frontier Brains and Gym Leaders all continued to get stronger. It’s not like in the games where they’re all at a set level. Reggie may have defeated all the Gen 1-4 Gym Leaders and almost all of the frontier brains, but he doesn’t have any further feats to back him up. The Pokemon Anime cast by the Sinnoh Reigon just continue to get stronger bro. Take for example Gary Gary beat Battle Frontier Ash Jupiter low diffed Gary Brock defeated Jupiter’s Toxicroak Sinnoh Ash > Sinnoh Brock > Sinnoh Gary > Battle Frontier Ash

Not to mention how when Reggie lost to Brandon Paul's Torterra was just a Turtwig back then, meaning that Reggie did all of that around the start or before Paul's journey began, meaning this would most likely be pre-Kanto or start of Kanto Ash in terms of the timeline since Paul is as experienced as Ash. If you think that everybody isn't training and improving except the main cast, I dunno what to tell you.
