I was in Army Jrotc and I came out as a cadet lieutenant and cadet chaplain
I was in JROTC in Cherokee High School and i came out as lieutenant
JROTC is useless. Plenty of other programs that offer leadership experience. Let federal funds go to an actual class that counts for something.
No it's not... If you plan on joining the military of any branch, after you take JROTC in highschool then pass BMT(of whatever branch), you immediately go in as an E3 instead of E1. So that means more pay and an easier way to go a higher rank besides starting from the bottom. There are many advantages. So NO, JROTC is NOT useless.
+DubSpringsTeen Go up to a drill sergeant and tell him you "got this" because you went to JROTC. It takes 6 months to make E-3. Don't feel so special because you learned facing movements in high school. Even ROTC is pathetic.

+Hieu Bui you don't "tell them you got this." You do realize there's such thing as record right? Now you enter in as in E-2 upon graduation of Basic Training or Marine Corps Bootcamp, with 3 years minimum of JROTC service - we have had MANY cadets enlist in the Army in their fourth year of JROTC and come back with a private E-2 rank. I have a feeling you just looked up JROTC videos so that you could try to make them seem worthless. Try again.
Hieu Bui yo head on the wrong way. A JROTC credential on your HS transcript is awesome and could give you a full scholarship to a rotc university.

I signed up for ninth grade JROTC. I think I'm getting more than I bargained for😂 It will be worth it in the end. Can't give before I start, haha.

my first inspection is in a couple of weeks and im really nervous /:
Boy they got it easy compared to all these other schools and mine
never heard a really long reporting in. ever! commander sounds nervous.
Their delivery is..... Very wonky, never heard deliveries like that. Oh, and the commander should have asked permission to look at her uniform before doing it.
Inspection was rather rocky, commander is..... Well..... Need more practice, overall, not too bad, i have seen and heard inspections alot worse.
