From experience I feel for you with that ķind of route finding is a energy vampire 😂. I met a LARGE rattle snake that way ( hands n knees ) in Central Arizona while trying to get up a steep overgrown , sheer,, mnt face. He was mellow and I backed off slowly 😊. He was beautiful n big.

A beautiful and impressive video. 😍😍 I walk these paths every summer and they never fail to impress me. You were very lucky they didn't penalty fee you. Camping and flying drones are prohibited throughout the area.

Wow! Such an amazing video and hike. I can only dream of doing hikes like that for now. Maybe one of these days. My area has a very very miniature Grand Canyon that we call Little Grand Canyon, which is a fun hike but definitely not like this one! Great video and awesome editing!!

So happy that you filmed this. Not just for me but for you. Because these are some of the best times of your life and you don't even realize it yet. I'm 63 and in my 30s I did this kind of thing in those mountains. Whitney three different times, Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River And from Tuolumne Meadows over to the Little Merced via Cathedral Peaks. I also like the John Muir from Onion Valley over forester pass and out Whitney. Best times in my life. One of the few things I reflect on often.

Did you need special permits to do some of that filming? For instance, I thought that drones were banned in the park but your opening seems to use them. Or did you get shots of the park, but from outside of its boundaries? Because it looks magnificent.
