2nd BEST Dive Site in Koh Tao
Chumphon Pinnacle is a really amazing divesite when there is at least 15m visability and is one of the best divesites for scuba diving not only here in Koh Tao but in all of Thailand and now with the covid-19 pandemic still going on you can have it to yourself. Chumphon Pinnacle is probably one of my favourite divesites to scuba dive.

While editing this video I realised these challenges are loads of crap. Now it did get me into exercising again and I saw some other benefits but nothing life changing. So you buy food for a bachelor at Tesco?? Those prices are the same as central US. Cuz I've checked other videos where beer $0.55 to 1.10 if a person buys food from locals at local markets everything is a 3rd of that. Plus the rent is going back up.

Thank you! I May I ask you which "condo" are you staying in? By the way, I expected that food prices (water, milk, eggs, etc) would be higher in a small island compared to the rest of the country, but the prices you mention are pretty similar to those you pay anywhere else in TH.

Great video! Just subscribed. How is the shore diving on Koh Tao? Have done a ton of shore dives on Kata Beach in Phuket. Boat diving is much better, but gets expensive I dive all the time!!! Cheers Brother!!!
Thanks, can be ok depending on the beach. Majority of the divesites are nearby so boat diving not that expensive. At the moment a lot of diveshops are doing good deals so just ask around

I am the project manager of the Gulf of Thailand Sea Turtle Photo Identification Project (Tao Talay Aow Thai), it is a study to document all individual sea turtles in the Gulf using photographic identification (Photo-ID ) to better understand the population across the region. May I add your video of the green turtles to our database please? The individuals you encountered snorkeling at Shark Bay are known as Samantha and Christi who both appear to be feeding away on the preferred food source in Shark Bay, Turbinaria Algae. Samantha has been with us since 2013 can still be seen in Shark Bay from time to time. We can also confirm Samantha is indeed a female turtle who very likely nested down in Malaysia. Christi the individual with the long tail is male green turtle who has only recently arrived at Koh Tao during 2020 and decided to stick around in Shark Bay.

Yeah, still here. Prices the same now but will go up once people start showing up. At the moment more people are coming to the island but also a lot are leaving as well
So what is the total ? 150$ is so cheap impossible
Depends on your lifestyle. $500/month for longtherm rent and food (mostly cooking yourself) and some drinks on the weekend and a bit of entertainment. In the begining used to spend $800-900/month but was staying in a different place and was eating out a lot, a few beers almost everyday and diving a lot too.

As far as I'm aware if you travel within 24 hours from receiving your certificate and have a negative covid test you should be fine. But keep in mind that rules change here on a short notice. Also, local authorities have a right to ask you to quarantine yourself for 7 or 14 days
