Thanks for this tutorial. I typically use .5” hinges also and always used the wings. But I’m going to try it without because what you said makes sense. I also do things differently - I generally make my pages first and then the covers and spine. Because ONE TIME I ran out of paper for the last page and would have an extra hinge! So that’s what I do now unless I’m certain I have enough paper. LOL

I was asking Tiffany about a similar project that had the waterfall affect and she mentioned that it was similar to this one so I searched for it in your tutorials! 🥰 what I’m not sure is where to find your cutting guide that you mentioned!
If you don’t use wings, how do you cover where the spine meets the covers? Thank you. This is a great tutorial!
@@joannsanders242 I cover mine with the cardstock I use to create my covers and book with.
@joannsanders242 you can use wings with this method. Just add 3 or 4 inches to each side of you hinges.

Hello, I did see your order and saw that it was not ordered, I was just going to pop it into your box :) The regular pages are made with the Artisan Linen cardstock

I am so relieved I watched your video, I was just about to pack up my brand new glue gun and send it back for a full refund! I tried over and over cramming that glue stick into my glue gun and it would not go in! I tried every color thinking maybe one was thicker than the other!!! I watched your helpful video and VOILA!!! You just feed it in ever so lightly and press that button and it feeds it in all by itself! Omgosh!!!! I went from one extreme to the other first spewing out angry words about my glue gun to OH HOW I LOVE THIS THING!!!! I wrote my name with it and even drew hearts and a flower and not I cannot stop playing with this cute little glue gun!!! So very thankful I found you!!! I cannot thank you enough!!! Now I will buy more for Christmas gifts!!! HUGGING YOU!!!!!

I’m sorry… what I mean is a 1.5 ish over hange on either side of the hinges. This way they tuck under on the right and left side for additional security? Hope I’m making sense
@DeniseWillerton I understand now :) I don't. I like to be able to remove my hinge if I have made an error and not tear up my whole book.

QUESTION??? Just to be clear my paper is 8 1/2 x 11... So for the pages, you pre cut to 8x11? Just Want to make sure that I got that right... I'd hate to cut then find I only need to fold the cardstock in half... I'm such a newbie... I love your tutorials/videos... I've learned so much! Thank You! 😊

Tamra could you help me? I thought I kept out the black scrap paper with the white circles that you wrapped the frame in but I can’t find it so what other paper in the kit to wrap the frame with?
The black paper was part of the collection kit. You can use any of the other paper that you like from the kit
I finally found a piece of paper that I think will go. I put 3 frames together so the Shaker beads can move around more freely.
I’d have this done by now if when I sit down to finish it life really starts happening! Nothing all day till then.😖
