Saw him sing this at the Westport Bar in Dundee in December 2002. Rest in peace, Michael!

legend, no-one writes like him, just so far ahead of his time. I heard a reviewer 10-15 years ago say his genius wouldnt be recognised till he was gone, it's come to pass, although in my humble opinion he was a genius from day one.

Very sad news above Michael's death. Only 60 years of age. A very sad loss to all. Special thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP Michael Marra 1952-2012. I do have more video from the same show I will try to edit and post - in his memory.

@bonniekilty - Not necessarily so ... I've not been to Dundee, but have seen Michael many times and have laughed my 'little' socks off every time. Granted, your local knowledge will make more sense of his references - but I think Michael is a universal talent. Glad you like the post ... will be posting more from the same show soon.
