Dear Mr. Walker allow me to shed some light on this issue , there is design problem on this angle grinder , it is fat and your modification will still restricts you , you better use the handle bar for more grabbing power , that will improve , the rest I can sell the design if big companies will pay me to buy my design and I make it more safer. All the Angle grinders by nature is dangerous due to their design.

I love these older Datsun 521 series trucks. With todays gas prices escalated, it would be a smarter thing to build these little trucks again. .

But how come the toyota vehicles alway have the appearance that the rear wheels are tucked in a bit more than the front wheels If slightly thicker spacers (factory toyota spacer) and a bit less thicker spacers are placed in the front (after exactly measured) and the wheels are put back on the stands apear lot more aggressive..(and cool)

Bad ass dude are you selling them. I guess I could make one as well since I have the same welder as you. Question though what size compressor do you use? In a pinch for light duty can I get away with a 3 gallon pancake style compressor

I wouldn't ever remove the guard. I seen 1 guy take a 3" chunk to his face and have 6 reconstructive surgery's on his nasal passages. Never remove the guard and always where safety glasses with a full face shield. From a legal standpoint and moral, I would never recommend this shit.

I love my powerplasma cutter. Something like this would sure make circle cutting even easier.

First rule in “ SAFETY “ is never modify any safety equipment. It’s designed in that way for a purpose. These reputed companies like Bosch, Dewalt etc have spent a whole lot of money in research and development. These are potentially hazardous equipment’s and it’s not a good thing to modify the safety guards etc for your Conveyance. Horrible Accidents have been caused for not following rules . Be safe and work safely. 🙏

The main thing is in the tools name. "ANGLE GRINDER". means u use the tool with the guard and grind at an angle.....only a small portion of the grind wheel touches the material. U maintain better control that way. And it's much safer... Hence the guard..

My favorite power tool is the angle grinder. But it's also one of the most dangerous tools in the power tool world... It's a very undertrained tool.. they need alot of safety training to accompany their usage..

Cut-Off wheels require a completely different guard than this one. The guard in the video is for a type 27 wheel. Cut-Off which are type 1 require a more enclosed guard in case of wheel failure. And NEVER EVER EVER remove the guard!

In welding school we use these all the time. We had to receive safety training on them first. The big things on these grinders are #1) never remove the guard's #2) never use the wrong size grind wheel in a particular grinder... #3) always wear gloves and eye protection and a face shield.. (yes eye pro and a face shield). those are the three biggest safety points .. Another one is always maintain control of the grinder while in use. Two handed grip ... They are EXCELLENT tools. Easily .one of my favorite things to do as a welder is Grind steel.....

Apparently you have never had a disk shatter on you , keep the guard on the grinder and do not modify it and wear gloves and eye and ear protection always when using these grinders , you just haven't been hurt seriously enough yet to get your mind right ! Bad advise is not helpful and dangerous for inexperience users !
