I loved attending CardCon ✨ there was a nice variety of vendors with something for everyone and across every budget ❤ Thanks to the Card Con team for not only inviting Dan and I, but also letting us celebrate the community on stage! Can’t wait till next year 🎉

Coatis are my number one favorite animals.

I took my young sons (5 and 8) on Sunday and they had a great time spending their saved up pocket money on Pokemon cards. We had planned our purchases better than last year at Card Con 1 and they did unexpectedly well on a spin the wheel game and each got their first PSA graded slabs although my 5 year old was a bit sad when he realised he wasn't supposed to open it. They picked up lots of shiny, full art, secret and asian cards to make their folders more interesting. I nearly bought a Pikachu with Grey Felted Hat for myself but had to remind myself I only collect 1980s cards. They had some vintage sports cards at the Topps stand and I saw some Garbage Pail Kids for sale but sadly not a whiff of the Matchbox Monsters In My Pocket cards that I collect. Shame the ebay stand didn't have the grab claw machine this year.

Well i have a cockroach on my wall and its turning white and ibwas worried and i have asthma and i googled it and it said its old shell wil turn into a fine powder and its feces too and i heard it causes asthma attacks😢(thx for reading)

Hi Shelby, it's lovely to see your time at the event from your perspective! I'm glad you had a great time 😊 I also attended the shop and main championship hall, on Friday and Saturday. There was so much to do I didn't have time to fit it all in! And I had no idea that those long tables were for anyone to pay and play! I wish I got round to it... But like you, I haven't played the card game in so long I did check out the Pokémon Lab TCG tutorial (I also chose the Greninja deck!). Hope you had safe journeys 👍🏻

Actually I learnt first hand how defensive a male ptarmigan can be. I was hiking through the fjords in northern Norway and accidentally stumbled upon a ptarnigan's nest. Mama bird skedaddled in panic and little chics were scattering in all directions trying to find shelter under stones in talus. But the next moment another bird came plummeting from the sky. It was cawing and rattling and gliding just above my head. I dunno what he was hoping to do with the giant that was me to him, but he looked quite brave. I should gave him proper respect.
