Mas, eu não trocaria o radiador original por um tanque de evaporação como o que você fez, e a ventoinha meramente jogando ar em cima do tanque d'água sem nenhuma aleta trocadora de calor faz um trabalho de arrefecimento muito mais ineficiente do que a ventoinha jogando ar em um radiador.
Хорошая самоделка но вот скопление стружки под вращающимся патроном может привести к серьёзным увечиям, лучше лоток для стружки около резцедержки убрать.

I like your idea of using a motorcycle gearbox to control the spindle speed, because it offers way more torque on low speeds than a VFD.
it's an old idea, there was a commercial lathe sold that used a ford model something gearbox. oddball threads would be hard to use for threading though.
