So very sad to hear this. As a SE US east coast windsurf wave sailor he was such an inspiration by showing the way to having fun on small, crappy side on / onshore East coast Wave days using bigger boards, larger rear fins and big power wave sails!

for me John Ingebritsen was one of my "windsurf heroes" he did NOT let light winds "slow him down" and to my knowledge was "heavyweight" by windsurf standards - like me @ 210 pounds it is ironic (and sad) that I think of him on this day and he passed away just recently although I did not know him personally - that he died windsurfing touches my "inner soul" may the wind always be at his back !!!

That little section on the Autobahn. So cute... 😊 "I'm flying along on the Autobahn at 140 km/h..." That's barely considered fast in Germany.😂 Yes, I know where you're coming from but I couldn't help but notice the difference in perceptions. Not laughing at you, but more at your amazement over speeds considered fairly normal here. Greetz from a German in Hamburg.
