That bent arm came from someone jacking-up the car. When lowered, it's almost too easy to slide the jack in front the back wheel instead of feeling around underneath for the chassis. A bent arm is a shorter arm, so not so good. Yes I'm speaking from experience

I think you got the wrong Duplicolor. That one you got is for painting dashboards & seats made of fabric or vinyl, to either refresh their faded color, or actually change their color(like if you had tan interiors and wanted black). There's another Duplicolor that says "Trim & Bumper" paint which is specific for plastic parts and bumpers.
